i use a protien blend most of the time. im using syntha-6 right now by bsn and so far it is the best tasting ive ever had. it is a blend of 6 proteins, some fast absorbing, some more slowly. muscle milk is also a good blend. i used to buy a small tub of optimum whey and a small tub of micell edge (micellular/cassien) and mix them together, and that worked pretty well. the general rule i use is whey first thing in the morning and after a workout because of the quick absorbtion, a blend the rest of the day and good old cottage cheese at night since a cup of it takes between 6-8 hours to digest and releases aminos the entire time.
