You mean like profiting from their oil, destablizing their country, gathering for a religous meeting and getting massacred, putting them on the brink of civil war, invading their country with too few troops alowing anarcy to reign and rioters physically tear down their government and civil infrstructure, making it so it's dangeroous to even drive down the road for fear of bombs??

......and stopping the murders, genocide closing the rape rooms, having democratic elections, establishing schools and universities, not having women be second rate citizens, improving the infrastructure, etc,etc,etc...........lets face it, the media only wants you to see the bad because mayhem is big news, they only show the battlegrounds but not the rest of the country.

It would be nice if we could divide Iraq into three states, one each for the Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds, but that wouldn't work either:

Turkey would be pissed off because an independent Kurdistan would cause their own Kurds to agitate for succession, the Shiite south would become an Iranian vassal state (just what we need) with control of the oil and territory that much closer to Israel, and the Sunnis would be pissed off because there isn't any oil in their area, and they'd become just a bunch of poor-assed terrorists, kinda like the Syrians.
