If I can rep 130's or 135's at 220lbs natural, on gear that would be about 150's or 160's.  Then figure another 60lbs. of muscle, 200's is about right.  Impressive all the same.
I wonder, if everyone who worked out took the same dosages Coleman too, I'd bet you'd see plenty of guys with crazy strength.  Then again, maybe not. ::)

Let us go over this once again.  Ronnie would kick a$$ on the gridiron vs 99% of the jacks on this site back in the day.  I know a guy named Greg who played MLB at Carver and Southern Univ. during Ronnie's time.  That means they crossed paths in high school and college.  If Ronnie were natural...he would jack Wack Daddy, True Arthropod and the other nuts who claim they could out do the man.  Compounds amplify what is already there.  He is in another league naturally or via compounds.  He was a good athlete who became a great bber.

Half reps?

You're kidding right.

Tell me how he could have done that anybetter?

He's not doing the 35 lbers chief, so there is going to be some restriction in movement at the top bud.

..because people wet dream -  "if I did those dosages I'd be able to do that too."
WRONG! Ronnie would have freaky strength with NO gear! Pressing 200's no but freaky still the same. Probably 150's which truth be told is incredibly strong, drug free.
Inherent strength is like height. There are very few people that are 6ft 7 and taller and very few people with Ronnie's level of inherent strength.
live with it

Interesting.  I would have thought you were a bit stronger than that (judging by where I am as a natural).  Surely you could improve that without too much trouble.

His form was ok, most of us would touch our chest with the dbs but give him credit, its only a mere inch he's missing from that type of range and it looks as though if he were going all the way down he'd still do quite a few.

And not to rubbish Layne Norton but he is pressing 150s in a vid.  I'm sure Ronnie would be much stronger natural than Layne.  I think some of you underestimate natural potential for db pressing.  I don't doubt I can get to 150s with enough time (though I can't really bench press so I do focus on it).

I wonder if Chris Mason could pipe in and let me know what sort of poundages he can do.

Some of you people must be insane.  His form was perfect.  He did twelve solid reps.  No spot, no one holding him at the elbows. Thats 400 lbs with no spot.  I think that is freaking insane!!!!!

Just to be able to lean back and control 200lbs in each hand is an amazing feat in itself....for verification of this just watch and see what happens when Cormier tries to DB bench 200s in BFTO 99 ;)
