Most erroneous steroid myths

Common people are talking about roids more and more because of the scandals in various sports.

So, what's the strangest myths you've heard about steroids from common people?

The weirdest one I heard was that Lou Ferrigno went deaf because of roids

 That Lyle Alzado died from an overdose of them...

 ...or that it makes you go crazy.

The best one to date is "roid rage". I know guys using 2000mg's of test a week and they are calmer and more easy going then Jesus and his diciples.

oily skin
nuts shrink

I over heard a guy selling paint at home depot tell someone, if Babe Ruth or Hank Arron took steroids they would've hit 1000 home runs, he said he heard this on TV by some scientists.

These are all true (to a certain degree)
strangest one I keep hearing is that steroids (somehow) directly kill you... go figure that one out, lol

were they the same scientists, with the lab coats and the clipboards, as in the muscletech ads?

That steroids don't work unless you are using 12iu of gh a day IGF 1,insulin and site injections.wow that seems like a lot of work and money.

The version I heard was that Lyle died from brain cancer caused by taking steriods... either way I call BS, there's no medical evidence that taking steriods causes cancer.

It's too bad Tim Fogarty doesnt really post here much anymore - he usually clears up the Alzado death quite well. Plus he kn ows a shit-load about bb in general
