TJ Schoenborn out of the NOC!!

He has got a bad case of shingles on his left shoulder, forearm and hand. He is in a great deal of pain and it looks like he will not be in the show! it is to bad as he looked great on Sunday when I trained with him. On Sunday the rash was pretty bad and he said tonight that it has gotten much worse since then! Here are some pics we took on Sunday. if you look close you can see the shingles rash starting. I wish him all the best as I know he is very disappointed!

Shingles??? His immune system must be really weak..thats basically the only way you get shingles, its your old chicken pox virus in you that has found a way to rejuvenate itself in a person when that person is under tons of stress or has a weaken immune system...hmmmmm They can last anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months..

He'll be back in time for the NPC Nationals.

Perhaps he'll be able to have an impact in the heavies there.

women get them after they give birth sometimes. Maybe TJ just had a baby? ;D

wayne has to be shitting himself right about now...all that is left is lee to pull out and it's london against sean allen and some russian guys...london still doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of placing top five at this show

Sami? I highly doubt it. My bet is that he's got an invitation to the Arnold's waiting for him.

If Sami competes in the PDI, I'm really impressed with DeMilia.

Looks like he is in good condition.  Just drop the water under the skin and he's ready to go.  I hope he is able to bear the pain and compete.  Hope its a mild case.

TJ just missed his IFBB pro card at the N.A.'s by one spot.  He won his class and was second overall.

TJ was the ONLY guy that I was worried about, after talking it over with Chick and hearing Shawn's views, I could not compete against guys who could not crack the top 10 in the NPC Nationals....after I have placed top 5 in 6 out of 9 Nationals.
What a blessing it was to injure my bicep....

No one could crack top 10 at NPC nationals?  I don't know about all the European guys...I'm sure there is some real unseen talent that can be brought in, but TJ, Sami, yourself, Frey and Lee Priest (obviously) are top national level guys.  I think if I prepared differently (like most others), that I'd have a shot at getting out of the unplaced group at nationals or USA, at least place somewhere decently at jr. nats.   To compare the talent of the IFBB to the PDI is certainly a different level (besides Lee).  The organization has to start somewhere and hope to build.

With that said, Vinny, you do whats best for you.  If you think you can get that IFBB pro card this year, I agree, that is the ultimate.

It could've been a good thing though.

Had a group of bodybuilders like: Darrem, Melvin, Cicherillo, Garrett Allin (sp?), Rusty, Dave Henry, George Farah et al, been contracted...

Then it would've been entirely different.

Then there would've been same quality but different looks.

And you could've fit in.

But PDI currently looks like a regular NPC contest with hopefully good production.

You can't wrap turds in silver lining.

It's a given about LEE, and TJ, but the rest of the US guys could not crack the top 10 in the NATIONALS, thats why they are doing the PDI.....the European guys are very good, they WILL place top 5

I added to my post above Vinny.  I see what your saying overall though.  Hopefully, after the first show, they can build more good competitors.

I am not out of the NOC!!!!

I do have shingles and it hurts like a bitch!! I am very tired so I have been sleeping a lot. Today will be training and then reight back in bed. I am doing all i can to keep this together. But I do plan to be in the NOC unless this does not clear up by then! But this is no fun!!
