did legs....i'm all shakey like from just 4 plates on the legpress.. :-[..plus my damn weight belt dosen't fit..i'm a 33 now up from a 28 :-[

actually did that last week..went..walked around...told my self my hair looked great in my gym mirrors..smoked a ciggy out..then chitchatted with the manager for a bit..then left... ;D

lol i've never been up to 12 plates a side...i've always been more of a squat guy and even then my max at 210 bodyweight ws 475 for 6... :-\..just belt..

i've always presed after squats...hacks and then pause squats..so my max on the press might have maaay be been 8 plates... :-[

wait you were squating 475 but only leg pressing 720 seems like you should have been doing more then that.but great squat numbers most guys at the gym think the squat rack is a curling station.

quality of contraction my friend and i'm a FULL presser..none of that parallel shit...plus if i squeeze really hard..i usually cramp up on the 6th or 7th rep with just 4 plates..who can do or has the energy to do more after squatting..hacking and maybe doing legcurls :-\ :-\

if however dont squeeze i could rep out 15...however i side with "quality of contraction vs quantity"

try rotating them to start your leg day sometimes its great to keep your muscles guessing, well that and asking them trivia between sets..:)

make sure you use the rake on the long shots after working legs you may get shaky.have a good night man.
