Kamali was never any good. He got some major gifts from judges blinded by the hype his first year or two out, then they woke up and started giving him the placings he really deserved,

exactly my point, he actually looked decent around 94 when he was winning shows like the collegiate at like 195lbs. at least there his arms and legs looked proportionate to everything else and his stomach was flat but as you can see now he obviously wasn't cut out for pro bb'ing.

King looks great from the back. Great routine. But the huge upper body smaller looking legs are just too hard too miss. I bet Shawn is having a field day right now.

damn king is getting bad to worse show after show..i think so kamali should open up his eyes and realise that small legs,big gut and 16 inch arms won't help him place even in the top 10...its fuckin hard to believe how the hell he ven qualified for the olympia in 2001 and 2002...i think so guys like these should be banned from competing on the pro show.this sport needs X frames and not Q frames..kamali is a fuckin disgrace to pro bodybuilding and him quiting would be the best thing for pro bodybuilding

king claims powerlifting (on a smith machine doing quarter squats with 5 spotters) made his gut big.

but ed coan, jesse kellum, ano turtiainen, chuck vogenphol, are all powerlifters and king's gut is much worse than theirs.

Not really.

This is the first show where he didn't get a huge gift.

Still, the judges were generous. PumpKing "Gut" Kamali had no place being in 11th with that physique of his.

A correct placing for Kamali at this show would've been 14th-15th IMO.

...after all, he did had a pretty good posing routine (at least where he imitated the great posers of the past) that should account for at least a few placings.

The sad thing is, I bet he feels he got screwed by the judges.

I almost feel bad for the guy. He's really trying, and no matter what, he can't succeed............
