Guys....after much thought I've come to the conclusion that we may be all wrong about King. In fact I believe he's going to go down in bodybuilding history. You see, by continuing to believe he's an actual bodybuilder and continuing to compete, he's giving the bodybuilding community the perfect specimen to study for the progression and ultimate consequences of "Palumboism". One day Tamali will be hailed as a hero in the bodybuilding community for allowing himself to be the test specimen for what this horrible disease can do to an once promising 2nd tier pro's physique. We should all thank this humble man for sacrificing so much for us and hopefully the future cure to the dreaded curse of so many good physiques. One day you'll never be able to think of the cure for "Palumboism" without also thinking of King Tamali. Thank you King. Thank you.

Great idea! And we'll get one of those commercials where we have a kid look into the camera and say "If you just give $5.00 maybe you too can help keep one bodybuilder from throwing away his career due to the scurge of Palumboism."  It will all be worth it even if we only help one bodybuilder. "Better than us"- in what way? First off, I do not care to look like Kamali, or any current competing pro for that matter.

"Sacrified his health"- Are you serious? You make it sound like he's doing this for us.  Like it's something noble he's doing by taking a shitload of drugs and putting on a g-string and doing the robot for a gay audience....

"Stronger than us"- I hope so. Again, he has something I don't. Anabolic help. Nothing he does in the gym impresses me.

It must be tough for guys who are big to try to get bigger in order to win contests. For some reason most top bodybuilders do not improve much no matter what they do. You have to feel for these guys because they leave no stone unturned and try everything on offer. In other words, they are desperate and hope the next trick will do the job. So they consult gurus and load up and get huge. Then contest time arrives and they consult more gurus to reduce the fat. I guess they hope they will look better this time. We have seen some big guys just miss out on being number 1. Who was that huge guy who wore glasses? Well, Kamali has the hype and why not boast because then you have to train hard to live up to your own hype. Somehow most guys cannot improve no matter what they do and you see a deterioration in their appearance. We all recognize this appearance and some call it Palumboism. I think that huge Canadian guy had the same problem. What to do next?

I agree that talking about physiques does not require a great body. Our opinions can be on the money even if we look like crap.

So perhaps Kamali has Palumobism and Melvinism?

King Tamali is a loud mouthed 2nd tier professional bodybuilder who threw away his career by running his mouth and getting fat as a pig in the offseason. As long as I live in America I can come on this message board and say that every single day of the rest of my life if I want to. And what I look like has absolutely nothing to do with that right. A professional bodybuilder by definition asks for his body to be critiqued and if that body doesn't live up to all the talk he puts out then you better believe there are going to be plenty of people right here at Get Big to point that out. Whitewidow, I could care less what you look like, it has no relevance to this conversation whatsoever. But you might want to put a little more thought into what you're trying to say here.
