the guy did like 30 reps.

could ronnie, kevin, etc. do that many reps?

possible fake weights.

the guy wasnt even struggling, and he doesnt look like gary frank or scot mendelson.

Ronnie would do it easily. He does 150pds inclines like its nothing and willingly stops at 20 reps.
just push some weight!

28 reps with 145 means that he could do at least like 8 with 200´s a la Ronnie...I know there are strong people out there but this guy doesnt look AT ALL that he can manage this kind of weight...
well, who knows? ???

I watched the clip again after reading sarcasms post, and the weights look weird.

With that being said, he's strong, here's 12 reps in the smith machine incline with 320 lbs.

I just wanted to bump this to show new members how not to try to start a criticism thread.

What a douchey attempt.

There are thousands of delusional individuals on youtube, why pick one who appears to be handling things pretty well.

It just seems way too easy for this guy...I retract the arm size comment; he does appear to be a very large dude. If those are indeed 150's I am fucking impressed I mean 25 plus reps, textbook form like it's nothing and not even to failure, even Ronnie wouldn't be able to do that.

I'd like Sarcasm's opinion on this  ;D

i already gave my opinion, i don't think that video is real, i believe the pulldown one but not this one, it reminds me of this Cybex plate loaded bench press we used to have at a gym i used to go to, you would see 150lb. guys pressing 3 and 4 plates on each side so i decided to try it out one day and i ended up pressing 7 plates on each side, 4 plates felt like 100lbs., if a guy doesn't have the size relative to the weight he is pressing 99.9 percent of the time there is an explanation.

Yeah I don't think that is real.

We have a new atlantis lat pulldown machine and a little guy training there told me its so easy. The dude weights 135 pounds and was doing 225 pounds for 8. So I decided to go try it and ended up doing 20 reps with 310 pounds. Couple days later I came back to tape the lift for you bitches and got under the 310 pounds again and couldn't budge it.  :(

just push some weight!

Only you seem to believe that those weights are legit..who's the douche?  ::)

Hahaha, it cracks me up when you see clips on youtube of little guys benching far more than they ought to handle while getting help from spotters hidden from the camera's view.

Notice how each rep is fluid in motion like a well-oiled machine.

He knows his center of gravity and fulcrum points well.  Again. Impressive.

He's def a strong dude...

Hi,

another german user on this board told me at  www.bbszene.de (german Bodybuilding Forum) that somebody is talking about the incline dumbell presses at youtube.com.

1. I know this guy for 43 years, "it`s me"

2.  i`m 6 "3", my weight is around 275 lbs (+-)

3.  I train for 25 years now

I never made the claim that these dumbells are 145 `s.  The real weight is 52,5 kg. It`s an old dumbell stack made in germany in the early 70`s (1972). the weights are 3,5 kg X 7 + 0,5 kg X 1 on each side of the dumbell. The weight of the dumbell grip is around 2,5 kg.
the heaviest dumbells i ever pressed where 75 kg (165 lbs) for 7 reps + 1 forced rep.

I don`t compete right now, just train for myself,

6 years ago (with 37) i won a local power-endurance competition in my region, which was organized by 2 local gyms. The organizer claimed before that Bodybuilder/Weightlifter have no endurance and can`t rep out with very high reps. The weights for the exercises where equal for all (Squats, 80 kg, Deadlift 80 kg, Benchpress 60). I know he was wrong....My total where close to 300 reps on all 3 exercises. Of course i was the heaviest, or 2. heaviest on that contest (total 14).

Hope my english is good to understand, "tell me pussy or whatever.....it`s only an internet-Forum, so that won`t bother me a lot"

Keep on pumping....i hope to "rep-out" for another 25 years!!!

Karl/Germany (Charlys69)

P.S.  i don`t know if this is the real forum-area for this. Between Ronnie, Jay, ...and all the other great champs it`s honestly not my place......

That`s Bertil Fox in the early 80`s. But it's defin. no incline press, i suggest he trains his biceps, the upper half of his reps maybe train his shoulder a little bit (but it could also be dangerous for his rotator-cuff).
That clip maybe is from hiy video "Brutal Fox".
Bertil fox is sent to prison (lifetime) in charge of killing his wife + his wifes mother in St. Kitts/Caribean sea.
I saw him in the late 80 `s in Germany at the FIBO (Worlds biggest Bodybuilding & Fitness Convention)

Peaking at 45 !!!

That was very impressive lifting------very heavy weight and excellent form, complete reps too, not this partial stuff you see a lot of.

Very impressive !!!

There a not a lot of guys that can do what you just saw.

i train 99 % of the time by myself, but speak a lot to other Bodybuilders/Powerlifter/weigthlifter,...

also i read the major BB-Magazines, watch Training-DVD`s. Most important change in my training was 10 yrs.ago when i read the book "blood & guts" from Dorian Yates, an shortly after that the video(Blood &
guts..) which inspired me a lot. I will say "form" is important + also "weight/resistance" is important.
but with both you can be to strict or to heavy. so a form that`s it`s ok and allows to use a "good" weight may produce the best results. If you train all the time to strict, your weights will be lighter, which is not optimal. Usingto heavy weights at the other side don`t allow proper Form, so that the stress on the "target muscles" is not the best it could be, but thestress on the tendoms/ligaments/joints is so high that injuries and pain is more likely to occure.

it`s like Lee Haney said 20 years ago, "intense is good, but to intense is not good".

If you want to get true perspective of Karls strength watch the video when he does dumbell rowing with a 100kg dumbell.I watched all the videos he has posted a couple of days ago, very impressive strength with perfect form, and a unique way of training by pausing between reps.

It`s a training system i "test" for the last 2 months. It`s called "PITT" (PITT-Force).
The guy who made it popular in Germany is Karsten Pfützenreuter who was a competitive Bodybuilder
in the 90 `s in Germany and won his state-championship in Nordrhein-Westfalen (the region with the highest population in Germany) in the light-heavyweight + also compete thereafter as a heavyweight.
His wife Nicole is act. a Female Pro Bodybuilder in the IFBB and competed several days ago in Atlantic City. Karsten right now is in the States with Nicole (NY-City).
He trains many Athletes in germay with PITT. He started out using that system in 2000. I personally know
act. German Bodybuilding + swiss Bodybuilding-champs who trains with that system.
OK, "a system is only so good as the people who use it" but "PITT" works very well.

I don`t know if there is further information in english about that system. On a german Website  www.Body-Xtreme.de is the meeting point for many PITT-Users. And there will be more an more every week. So stayed tuned, i think you will hear more about it in the US in the future.

Karl,i`m very interested in what the basics are of your PITT force training sysytem, can you explain them to me,and do you plan on putting up any videos on youtube of your leg training using this system.
