I'm 18 years old and have been training since last summer. Bodybuilding has been good to me so far! And although I've put myself on the list of Mr. Getbig competitors, I have to officially announce that I'd like to be taken off. This is simply because I feel that with another year I'll be ready to be a real contender for the Mr. Getbig 2007! Let me know what you think of my progess thus far. I know I need to relax a little as you can see from my facial expressions.

I have one question. Who here on Getbig has bigger forearms than me? Sarcasm? Adonis? Anyone?

Stats: 5'7 180+ lbs.

TA is so much stronger than me even the thought of challenging his strength is completely out of the question. I can wrist curl the 70s for decent reps although I don't regularly train forearms.

Sandstone you have real thick forearms but trust me you would love them if they were cut and vascular.

When you lose the fat, the forearms will go too, to a certain degree.

The shorter the bone,the "bigger" the forearm. Look at Serge Nubret,Frank Zane and even the not fully juiced Arnold.(Juice garauntees forearm growth) compared to Lee Priest or anyone with short arms.

Forearms have more to do with bones than anything....It was more common in the Ironage for bones to be thinner and longer. That was the look that was in. Bodybuilding has shifted towards the short,thick look. I prefer former Ironage type look.

Believe it or not. As mcuh as i love the bodybuilders of today, i still stand in awe of guys like Zane, Arnold and Drapper. I show them much respect.

I completely agree. I noticed in most cases that the shorter guys have forearms that have muscle insertions closer to the wrist while taller folks have "higher" forearms. That doesn't mean all short people have bigger forearms, however.

figgs looks thick especially for the short time he trained,he could be a top finisher next year if he diets down perfect imo
