answer me this chick...
how can a guy be overspilling like crazy and his stomach starting to bloat up and still keep on eating?
I know what the piece of paper says you should do but when are some of these guys gonna start listening and looking to their body's responses and adjust accordingly?
I can tell you from my own experience, when you're not winning...you start to try different techniques, and get "smarter" and eventually end up further from what got you there in the first place...
This is EXACTLY what happened to me...I came out of the blocks as a rookie, won the Jr. nats..placed 5th in my first national show...took runner up at the USA's, 3rd, 4th, etc....nice and all, but not winning the pro card.
Then I started to make changes to get BETTER...started reading more, started to learn more...everything worked on paper and the calculator...and placed lower and lower, all the time moving away from the basics which were working for ME on the STAGE.
I was better off when I didn't know shit...just trained, dieted, depleated, carbed up, cut water off at 8 the night before, took a 25mg.Diazide....and showed up in shape every time. No tricks, no insulin (wasn't around then anyways) no big sugar loading, no GH, no T-3, etc.
I came to that realization years later...took out my old notes, and with that finally came in close to 100% on game day and earned that pro card...with basics.
The K.I.S.S. metheod, is alive and well and taped to King's desk as we speak....
