Is 240 a conspiracy theory wacko with these threads or is he onto something?

This board has been inundated with crazy conspiracy threads by 240.

All these threads beg the question, is 240 a complete and utter wacko or is he privy to information no one else is?

Perhaps all these threads are just his way of passing the time and he doesn't really believe the conspiracy theories, considering no one with a shred of intelligence believes them this might actually be the most likely scenario.

You seem like an intelligent guy from many of your posts, of course you seem like an infant with others but that's another topic.
Conspiracy theorists come with all political affiliations, claiming you're a lifelong Republican doesn't really say anything.

I believe the overriding factor in intelligent people believing in conspiracies is that they want to believe.

There are all kinds of intelligent people that believe in UFOs and Bigfoot and Yeti and The Lochness Monster and every other cause they can latch hold of, hell some even believe that we didn't actually land on the moon or that the Holocaust didn't actually take place.

The point is they want to believe no matter what the facts say. It's a little sad.

I love my country, I love my govt. I'm an educated man and up until early this year, I firmly stood behind everything Bush did- wars included.

many conspiracy nuts are antigovt, and I'm not.  I think it was probably a group of 20 to 40 in our own govt who really knew that 911 was going to happen.  That's it.  Everyone else does their job because they love their country.

I didn't want to believe.  I nearly fought a guy who suggested the possibility, and only started researching to prove him wrong.  I took notes.  I debated.  i read.  I watched video clips.  I studied history (there are declassified docuements in which the govt admits faking the gulf of tonkien and 1967 ISR ship firing) and saw that a self-attack was indeed something our govt has done in the past.

I can very calmly sit down online, on the phone, or in person, and talk with anyone about th evidence of 9/11.  I have done so with dozens.  Some agree, some don't.  Even thouse who don't agree 1005 will admit that the govt did lie about some things that day for no reason, and they did have forewarning of the plane attacks.

I invite you to go through your life believing what you want.  I have probably spent a few thousand hours this year studying 911 and the events before and after.  I have reached the conclusions, based upon the preponderance of evidence, that yes, some in our govt knew about 911.

Please watch Loose Change. it's made by some college kids, it has some good music, and it just might open your mind to a few possibilities.  Even if only ONE event of that day is fishy to you - then you might start to think about new possibilities.

Right after 911, the media DID make a big deal about it.  They pushed Rummy hard for answers to the pentagon crash- there simply was no plane there.  They questioned Bush on it.  They reported explosions on the day of 911, then removed these sounds from the DVD released versions later.   The media will sometimes do a piece on it, many more this year than in the last 4.

You know me man, I am a bright, hardworking guy.  I don't get conned on things, and I am a complete conservative on all social and international issues. I love FOXnews.  Watch it 4 hours a day, every night through the whole cycle. 

I've studied 911 for a lot of hours.  In my heart, I pray it was just 19 guys with knives. But in my mind, I know that a very small group of elected people in our country knew about it ahead of time and allowed things to happen.

i'd vote for McCain.  I'd probably vote for Powell.  I can't stand the clintons.  My motivations for wanting a new 911 investigation are not political whatsoever.  I know many peoples motivations are.

For me, I just want to know if 3000 of my countrymen were allowed to be murdered.  that's it.  For my son, and his sons.  If ONE person in our govt knew, then we need to investigate things.  The Constitution is the only thing that make the US the best place on Earth to live.  And if 3000 people had their right to life/liberty revoked, then I sure as hell want to know the truth. 

If Bush is innocent, I'd be the happiest man in the world.  But he is the one who fought the investigation hardest.

let's solve one problem at a time.  party politics, we're not going to change ebcause we all have different fundamental beliefs.

I think that 240 has good points.I don't believe or disagree with the physics angle because I just don't think that we can really know what would happen with 2 planes plowing into a buidling. There is a serious lack of wreckage at the Pentagon but people saw the plane hit. I think the Pennsylvania plane may have been shot down..could explain lack of wreckage. Anyway he makes good points and does stay away from politics for the most part. I don't think we did it..more to general incompetence then anything else. I prefer he just post on one thread because almost every discussion on the war gets turned to this but other then that he does a good job.

I don't know what their bombing plans were that day, but I know things weren't perfect. 

The time diff is a huge smoking gun.  I mean, people were saying all sorts of stuff like 'maybe the basement fires came from gas fire, etc), but this really shows that BOOM there were serious blasts BEFORE the planes touched tower.  Lots of burned and maimed firefighters and people on the inside, too, who got shit blown on them on like floor 16 or floor 8. 

I have had a few people PM me, who don't want to tlak about it on the boards, but they say they were either in the tower or friends were, and they said that yes, as they walked down to get out, there were blasts all over, fucked up walls and windows, and bloody people from the bottom half of the building.

Shit really happened.  that building was full of bombs.  I don't even wanna point fingers, I just want everyone to sit back and think about what it means.
