i think they match up well against each other both were second in the world more than once and once on balance and conditioning. of course ray was more geneticly gifted but gasapri was complete and freaky ripped..

I think Labrada vs Shawn would'of been a fairer comparison. Gaspari wasn't exactly known for his symmetry.

Shawn had the most aestically pleasing pghysique but Rich might have been the most conditioned. Very comparable indeed.

Gaspari didn't let poor genetics (by pro standards) stop him from developing a very good physique with unreal conditioning. But as the photos show, his overzealousness eventually led to Palumboism. I used to think that Dorian was the first known victim of Palumboism, but I've just now realized I was wrong.

Gaspari only has Ray on condition.Size wise both are comparable to each other.It's when you put the shape of the muscle bellies & proportions/symmetry into play that Ray knocks Gaspari out of the water.

Rich had great conditioning but Shawn wins on shape, size, and presentation. Not even close.
