he looked close to it last year. the guy puts so much pressure on himself to beat ronald...im not sure how if he will be able to handle getting 2nd again. could this be the year that we will see a trophy-smashing, medal-throwing, lockerroom trashing, tears running breakdown? $:-\$

he probably spends 65-70 grand a year on gear ..... i doubt any insurer would cover him ...i give jay three to five years till he turns into a flex wheeler or tom prince..

Why doesnt he post here anymore? It doesnt matter to me because he was as interesting to interact with than watching my fingernails grow but just wondering.

You'd give Jay a whole Epic size Monumental post with lots of questions, suggestions, thoughts etc...you'd wait for an awesome post back with tips, upcomming plans, personal thoughts and all you'd get is a brutal...

It's only a matter of time - Jay will be Mr Olympia in two years whether people like it or not - he's still a reasonably young guy - his body should hold out long enough to take the crown.

Totally wrong dude, he is what bodybuilding needs, an all-american looking, head full of hair, no pocked mark skin, married, non partying, decent guy who speaks proper English and doesn't dress like a fool or go on talk shows acting like a bafoon.

Interesting thing about the prize money...

In 1992, Dorian won $100,000 for his Mr. O title. Adjusting for inflation, that would be about $140,000 today (an approximation as 2006 inflation numbers aren't fully set yet). While first prize is more than that at $155,000 it's really in increase of only 10.7% over 1992. That's not that much. In the same time, the highest salary in baseball has increased 266% (again adjusting for inflation). Looking instead at World Series winning shares, they've increased in that time from $144,962 to $324,532 last year, an increase of 166% (with inflation adjustment).

This very well could be the year for Jay Cutler. His training/nutrition is so on point, and the extreme conditioning he gets could finally be enough. Ronnie is getting older and not training through his rebound post Olympia. Its rumored he took four months off after last years Olympia, just to deal with some nagging injuries. Jay Cutler has the desire to be the best, Its the motivation for his training at this point( watch any Jay DVD) personally Its beyond the money. Jay knows the worst he'll get is 2nd. Ronnie has never had somebody riding his ass so hard, leaving him no room to slack off if he wants to remain Mr O one more year.

There's no telling what Jay's reaction will be "if" he loses again. BUT he has clearly said that he knows he's in line to be the next Mr. O, but right now his main goal is to "beat Ronnie". So lets see what happen in the Vegas show down it will be interesting, btw if Ronnie accually comes in around 300lb it's lights out for Jay. All Ronnie has to do is bring in the shape he had in 2003 and the show will turn into a fight for third place.
Jay can get a truck load of orange fluffy but if Ronnie brings the 03 package it will be a battle for third place

No, he wont melt down because Ronnie is that much better than he is. Cutler was at the top of his game last year and still didnt get the job done. Now when Vic beats him out next year for the crown he might meltdown.

He has yet to prove he can beat Dex or Gustavo convincingly. Last year they didn't even allow Gustavo to have a comparision to him. If so, he would have been regulated to 3rd place. And no, I don't even like Gustavo myself but that is just how it was.
