VYOTECH NUTRITIONALS INTRODUCES THE FIRST-EVER GOAT WHEY-BASED PROTEIN:
ORYX HITS GNC STORES OCTOBER 2006

13-Time Mr. Olympia Competitor Shawn Ray to Put Powder to the Test

Beverly Hills, Calif. (September 7, 2006) – Vyotech Nutritionals, a pioneer in the world of vitamin and protein supplements, announces their newest and most ground-breaking addition yet.  Oryx Goat Whey Protein, debuting at the 2006 Olympia Expo Sept. 29-30 in Las Vegas, will hit GNC stores in October at a suggested retail price of $44.95 for 30 servings.  World class body builder, Hall of Fame candidate and 13-time Mr. Olympia competitor Shawn Ray has signed on as spokesperson, stepping out of retirement to put the protein powder to the test.

Ray, who left competitive bodybuilding five years ago, turned 40 this year.  “It was time to get up off the couch and do something about my fitness,” he says.  “Like a lot of guys my age, I wanted to reduce my overall fat content and bring out my lean muscle mass.”

He joined Vyotech’s efforts when he learned about Oryx.  Ray had used cow-based products throughout his career, but had never tried goat-whey protein.  Oryx, available in chocolate and vanilla flavors, provides 140 calories, one gram of fat, two grams of carbohydrates and a hearty 30 grams of protein per serving.  Ingredients include goat milk whey isolates and peptides, coca, lecithin and prosucro.

But the key, according to Ray, is the ease in digesting it.  Cow-based protein powders typically cause excess gas and bloating.  Not true of Oryx, says Ray.  “If it’s that easy on the stomach, I thought it was worth a try,” he says.

Ray uses Oryx three times a day as part of his overall workout regimen.  After four weeks on the program, he has already seen progress.  “My pants are baggy and my wife has noticed a change.”  He will showcase the results of the full 12-week program at the Mr. Olympia Expo in Las Vegas.  “In some ways, this will be my biggest showing yet at Mr. Olympia,” he says.  He is aiming for a 30-pound weight reduction.

Vyotech Nutritionals is a division of Spectrum Distribution Group.  Established in 1994, Spectrum provides cutting-edge nutritional supplements within bodybuilding and weight loss categories.  The Vyotech line of sports supplements debuted in 2004.  With 17-HD, Viraloid and Nitrobolic Extreme product lines, Vyotech is the fastest-selling brand sold in GNC stores.

No joke - since cow protein causes excess gas and bloating, as they claim - imagine how nice and rosy backstage at various contests could be! Imagine how the bathroom at your place of work would be if everyone was on goat protein!

But is this really true? Does goat protein cause less gas and bloating than cow based protein?

Goat Milk Whey was actually been around for a few years.  In fact, I sold it for a very short time but it was relatively unknown so I stopped.  I may bring it back hearing on the news as Vyotech will generate interest
