I'd get out more if I was you. Wayne has more than 20 gyms with posters and selling tickets in the New York area. In fact a couple NPC promoters are helping him. He has full page ads in something called the Village Voice and some other magazine that you probably read and look at. Was wondering you must not be too hardcore. Have you ever been to the Olympia or any IFBB show in the past 20 years. There is a helluva mailing list flyers are being mailed to every month for thepast 6 months. Anyone who has been to a pro show and was on the mailing list got these. As a hardcore fan you would think you were on this list. opps, maybe you are you are a hardcore reader of BB magazines not actual shows
The show is just fine. Nice try though.

It's true...I do need to get out more. But I have been to the Night of Champions, the Arnold and the Olympia several times. I work out at New York Sports Clubs (15 NYC locations), which doesn't have any flyers. I walk past the Town Hall theater once a week. No signs or flyers. I don't read the Village Voice anymore. It's pretty much a gay newspaper with 1 or 2 good stories. The Town Hall box office reported that less than 50 tickets have been sold. Maybe they're expecting huge walk-up numbers. Anyone can verify the lack of ticket sales by going to Ticketmaster and seeing how close to the stage the available tickets are under "Best Available". Check for yourself. Claims of "nearly sold out" are a huge crock o' shit.
I must say that I am impressed with some of the physiques that have been posted in this thread. If Lee and TJ show up, it should be a competitive show. Quite frankly, I think that the lack of "names" is the reason for the slow ticket sales. Wayne really should have made a greater effort to sign current IFBB pros instead of adopting a "I'll let them come to me" approach. Signing a couple of New York-based IFBB disenchanted out-of-the-loop pros like Caprise Murray, Jason Arntz, and Rodney St. Cloud would have brought the numbers substantially up.
I hope the PDI is successful. Anyone wanna meet up at the theater?
