Our local sports talk show recently started running a Direct TV NFL Ticket commercial that emphasizes fantasy football.  Uses a "sexy" woman's voice who talks about how "you like to watch, don't you," and makes other similar remarks.  Sounds like a porn commercial.  So I called the show this morning to complain, because I take four teenage girls to school in the morning.  I was the only person who complained.  Figures.

I'm with ya, Beach.  My wife has finally realized how VAST the temptations are with tv commercials, even with "family-friendly" channels.  And she now sees how much they push the envelope during football season.  I'm so glad she read the book "Every Man's Battle" with me.  It's so easy to access our visual side... television, radio, internet - anywhere!

Yep.  And most of it is just gratuitous.  We went to see Snakes on a Plane the other day (my wife's choice).  There was a sex scene in the airplane bathroom that was just out of place.  No logical connection to the movie.  It's all over the place.

Matthew 5:28 tells us that simply looking at a woman in lust is a sin.

1 Peter 2:11 tells us to abandon all fleshly lust.
