You seem to forget that his era was not the 90s but rather the late 80s.
He was a mass monster where there was none and before the new "goodies" were available.
There's some well known footage of him in 88 and you could see in terms of mass, he was superior to any bodybuilder of that time.

Richards claim to fame is that ONE appearance PERIOD. He claims he doesn't like to be put on display and all the other shit he says on his web site, but the bottom line is that he can't EVER be matched up with any IFBB pro cause the muthafukka NEVER competed!!!! His name can never stand along side of Ronnies,Dorians or anyone else - casue no one ever got to see him in a real competition.

Many people on this board may shit on Shawn Ray, but he was a massive man who was physically dominant to 99.99999999% of the population. There is a pic of Shawn and Vic ( Richards in overalls ) to gether and Vic dwarfs him. It's an unreal comparative assessment of Vic.

but the fact that claiming to be a top pro bodybuilder without competing is just wrong..there a few of his interviews while back where he said he hates the way the IFBB is running..come on if he wanted to compete he could have had competed..he was just scared and thats all...he was fake ass bodybuilder
