Hey, those are some of our best gals. West Ryde has a lot of working class areas around so that colours the people there. We had people coming from long distances to train there. We don't get many fat women training there, either. Just the usual mix that you see in most gyms. We have always had more male members and that has always worried us because we got a reputation for being a serious gym and that has been something very difficult to change. That is partly why I changed the name to Vince & Roz's Fitness World and it is now simply V&R Fitness which I don't think is as good. We did much better in the 3000 sq ft primitive gym than in our 20,000 and 30,000 square foot clubs we have had for the last 15 years. I think the mix is quite good at the moment and the test is to see if you can attract all types of members and not just muscleheads. I made some nice dumbbells but only up to 130 pounds. We have one member who weighs about 340 pounds and he benched 575 a couple of weeks ago. He needs bigger dumbbells. So the gym is always evolving.
We are near the middle of Sydney but about 1/2 an hour from the Downtown and 40 minutes from some of the beaches. Sydney has 4 million people and is huge. Everyone here wants to have their own home so the density isn't like you find in big American cities such as LA or NY. The climate here is similar to northern Florida or southern Georgia.
