Maybe some of the stuff here wont touch her coming from someone else, find out a few of the main things that attracted her to you, and work of those, or one of the first things you learned about her re create that telling her when you think about this you think of her, you know crap like that

The only problem is that many guys don't remeber the first date..

Nah they do...It's there...think back when was the instant you "feel" for that person, or fondest memory. The way that person laughed something they sad that stuck with you..it could have even been a fight...or just an occasion.

Just find your comfort level, and don't memorize anything, the smooth lips sail the ships...

Playboy, here is an easy one (but still nice) if you're a bit lazy and don't want to set the bar of your marriage too high w/Migs' proposal :

While she is at the gym (make sure her workout partner knows what's coming so she can make sure your girl is listening)  make announcement over the loud speaker, "Attention gym members.  My name is Playboy and I am in love with blah blah.  She means blah to me, blah blah blah.....  And then propose.  Then walk over to her and get on your knees and ask again and put the ring on her finger.  Oh yeah, have some flowers too.  Have someone film it.

Thats pretty cool. I can dig that idea. She wouldn't even expect it in there of all places. Not bad Stella.

I agree with you on that one. A buddy of mine set that up for his fiancee a couple of years ago and the idiots at the stadium forgot and didn't go through with it. Thank God he had a back up plan.

I was thinking of heading out to the beach. I have a close friend with a cottage near the water out there. I was going to head up there a day early with some parchmont paper I bought. I was going to burn the edges of the paper making it look like an old scroll. I was going to right her a nice romantic poem letting her know how I feel about her. I then was going go by the beach and have the bottle half buried looking like it just washed up from the water with the scroll inside sealed tightly. I then was going to go back up to the beach the next day with my girlfriend, walk her on the beach and sort of guide her towards the "washed up bottle". I then would ask her to open it and see what it said. As she finished reading it I would then drop to a knee and pope the magical question while my best friend video tapes the whole thing on his cam corder hiding in the bushes. What do you think? Good? Bad?

that is a great idea.  I had an idea that involved the beach.  I would take her to the beach and have a "tent" made on the beach.  It was basically the poles and qhite mosquito betting for the top and sides.  Inside a small firepit and pillows all aourd.  Either copper laternes or some other type of lighting like the paper lanters you see around.  Have a dinner made there and pop the question.  But your idea is great and since it comes srtaight from you is more special

I think that is very sweet.  Just hope no one takes your bottle before you get there...including the ocean. lol
