What to take for liver detox?

What would you take to help your liver out breaking down supplements? M1T/groth horomone ect.? I was talking to a lady at GNC and she said that Milk Thistle wouldn't cut it? She said there were two stages of a liver breaking down something and milk thistle would only do the fist stage? She mentioned something called "Liver Detox" that would do the trick. Any confirmation on this?

Natural foods that are good for your liver are beet greens and apples.  I take AF betafood for my gall bladder due to gall stones and it works wonders.  What's good for your gall bladder is also good for your liver.  There are also good sources of homeophathic ways of cleansing your liver.  The following site is a good start  http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/default.asp 

You are wise to want to take care of your liver.  It's functions are too numerous to list and a healthy liver is key to a healthy life.

The best way is to drink plenty of water, be carefull with fat, en no alcohol.
You need fat, but there is no essential need for alcohol.

I add my vote to Milk Thistle, et it at the supermarket for cheap ( I have the Safeway Select version, 50 caps, around 6 bucks, 150 mg concentrate)
