I don't see why everyone has a problem with the diet.

It's a diet based on calorie deficit.

You could eat smarter: choose foods that rates higher on the satiety index, and have better nutritional value and all that, eat foods that aren't as caloric dense.

But point is, you'll drop weight as long as the calories aren't too low, and drops your metabolism.

I would never use this diet.

I'd rather eat lots of brown rice, lots of vegetables, some tuna, nuts, fruits, oils and different kinds complex carbs.

But that's just me, it works for me. And I don't give a fcuk how anyone else is doing their stuff.

People love easy fixes though. Let them try them. If they work, great.

Foods with higher fat and sugar are more satifying by far.

Eat some pizza and tell me its not more satisfying and lasting than a fooking chicken breast.  OR a Whopper versus some ground turkey burgers.  Its no contest.

If you feel that way, then great.

To get the equal amount of carb/protein/fat ratio as in a pizza, I would need to eat some brown rice and eat some hazel nuts and/or drink some olive oil, in addition to that chicken breast, but I couldn't eat the whole chicken breast either, I would cut down that a bit.

Then add some sugarfree ketchup and seasoning, and lots of steamed spinach and broccoli with that.

With that meal, I would get the same carb/protein/fat ratio, if I wanted, and due to the amount of fiberous content, and lack of fast carbs, I believe I would keep my insulin levels optimal.

And stay full longer.

I respect your take, of course.

Todays Diet:
Meal 1 - Krispy Kreme and Ben & Jerry's
Meal 2 - 6 inch subway cheese steak sub and baked lays
Meal 3 - beer and egg/cheese sandwich
Meal 4 - Mayfield ice cream
Meal 5 - McDonald's quarter pounder w/cheese and 6 piece mcnugget w/ honey mustard
Meal 6 - Cheese grits (Big Ron style)

So you're still trying to keep your calories below maintenance right?  How many calories are you trying to consume each day?  Because you're "Meal 5" alone has 820 calories?  Just curious.

According to McDonalds.com nutrition info, Meal #5 =

QP with Cheese = 510
Nuggs = 250
Sauce = 50

That's 810...  McDonalds adds it up as 820...  So maybe they don't even know!

And yes I try to keep my calories about 1000 below maintenance each day.

Okay, but answer my question: How many calories are you shooting for each day?  I saw that you weight about 200-210lbs?  It looks like your probably getting about 3,000 calories per day with this plan.  Do you really think your "maintenance" is 4,000 calories?
