I watched it a couple of times before I noticed that the narrator's voice sounded rather familiar . . . I think it's Guy Pearce, and he did some work w jean-jacques annaud, who directs nature films . . . so maybe it is him. since some of y'all seem to be big movie fans . . . and it is the voice of a man w an interesting face, i thought perhaps I'd find an answer here.

I don't think the voice is Guy's, it's a little too low. And I don't think he has an interesting face at all. Frankly, he's a little too gummy for me, ...although I thought his performance was fabulous in "The Count of Monte Cristo". He was very well cast there and he really showed a total commitment to his character. |

Lol, well if you, who has seen LA Confidential 20 plus times, and Ozgirl say it's him, then that's good enough for moi. Actually, I've only ever seen him in flicks where he affects an American accent. If that's him, he sounds as good as he looks. Love Australian accents. |

the thing about Pearce is that he can do so many different accents well, but there's a particular thing that all his accents have . . . I bet most people could pick up that it was russell crowe in the insider, in master and commander, and in romper stomper . . . a certain quality of the voice just carries through.
