PDI's NOC and IFBB's Colorado Pro

How do these two shows match up in terms of revenue???Audience attendance ect?

According to Shawn, the Colorado Pro had 5,200 paid attendees, while the PDI drew 100, 93 of which were comps!


Somehow, I think I'm going to independently verify those numbers before I take his word for it!  ;D

Even I can guarantee the Colorado Pro wins in every accounting line including loses.  The Colorado Pro though a good idea was marketed horribly and one of the biggest no no's was not charging for the Expo.  Big loss in revenue for that move.  They don't give space away for free.  Blowing $30,000 of possible profit was a bad move too.  I mean only one person was happy from that move.  And it appeared to be an employee of one of the maor sponsors.  The Colorado show can grow if done right.  The NOC can grow too but only in sponsorship dollars.  It is a small venue but perfect for this show.  It is 100 times better to pack most of the house if it only seats 1500 than partially pack a house that seat 5000.  That is the difference.  75% filled seats at the NOC looks great (only 375 empty seats), 75% of the Colorado Pro loks kind of bad (1250 empty seats).

I don't think even Sean could lie that bad.  The hall he used held 5000.  The expo was free.  His show was far from a sellout.  So he is saying he over sold the show and people were stnding.  No way could he even lie that bad.  And there were more people at his amateur show.  And with the amount of sponsors who came, competitors he had allot of comps.  I think he meant to say he sold $5,200 in ticket sales

The guy runs a business, he has posted everything from pics of his state ID cards to his hotel reservations.
