Shocking Senatorial Votes

The following senators voted against making English the
official language of America:

Now, these are the senators who voted to give illegal aliens Social Security benefits.  Regardless of political party, these politicians need to be defeated in 2006, 2008 or 2010, whenever they come up for office.  They are grouped by home state.  If a state is not listed, there was no voting representative.

Knny, that's a fucked up list.  I agree with getting mad at any senator who would cast these votes, but I also know how they pull bullshit in Washington.  What else was attached to the bill?  Lets see all they would have been casting a yes vote for.  With Republican control, it's relatively easy for them to craft a bill that will make for a good attack on the minority party.  To be fair, lets get all the facts here...

Basically....for example....if they were to pass the bill as English being the offical language, then it would require aliens to learn the language to use our schools.

Here in California, it's required for teachers to "teach" both in English & Spanish.  I still can't get over the fact....that teachers are required to learn Spanish, to be able to teach in Spanish, to our illegal Aliens (since they are more entitled to a free education than american citizens).  Also, the "tax dollars" spent on teachers salaries....are being paid for by American citizens.

Does something seem very wrong here?

no kidding  ;D It usually goes like this too... Only usally I get all out of wack pissed and I think people remember my meltdown more than what caused my meltdown... This is a great example of how it happens... So if a teacher in California cannot speak Spanish they are required to learn it fast?

I read about a school here in the UK that had to bring in extra help as there were officially over twenty languages being used in one class!! :o
