Apropos of tattoos, my best friend is a dermatologist who just may be able to retire early due to the tattoo trend. He and his colleagues all knew that they'd get extra work removing tattoos due to this new must-have accessory, but they never could never have imagined the influx they're getting. All of these guys (mostly youngish and many of them bodybuilders) got their tats 5 or 6 years ago and they are regretting it -- a lot. The derms assumed the demand for removal would be 10 or so years down the road. Most of their comments are what you might think: "What was I thinking?", or "I got them when I was drunk", or they bowed to peer pressure. Most of their sentiments are "just get them off of me".
I've always greatly admired Lee's physique and believe he's never gotten the appreciation, respect and acclaim he deserves. Though I find his choice of tattoos unfortunate (and am firmly in the camp that believe tats -- excessive ones, anyway and who's to say what's excessive -- distract from the physique), you have to admit the guy is one-of-a-kind and a very free thinker, which tops the bod, the tattoos, everything. More power to him. And, Lee, if you decide you ever want to shed that ink, let me know and I'll send you my friend's contact info....one can never retire too early!
