Metalheads?
« on: September 26, 2006, 08:26:46 PM »
Anyone like metal to work out to?  Or just listen to in general?

I like to work out to Nordic metal... In Flames, Children of Bodom, Hypocrisy.  Some American stuff is brutal too, like Unearth and God Forbid.

Stuff gets me so jacked up to move the weights.

The owner of the gym I attend downloads songs from his computer and takes requests. Slipknot is always good for leg day.  ;)

Haha, I had Hypocrisy's "Abducted" album on the ol' Zen for legs this morning.  For some reason there's nothing like alien abduction metal to get my quads pumped...

Napalm Death, Gorefest, Moonspell, Amorphis, Pantera, early Rammstein! A few years ago I had a Brutal Death Metal Band called Damned Nation! I did vocals...

I just cant get into that much new metal or black metal. I stick to Pantera, Sabbath, Fear Factory, Type O, Exodus, Crowbar, COC, Maiden, Priest, Ozzy, early anthrax, Slayer. That kinda shit, well throw in the haunted they are new but I dig them and maybe children of Bodom

I pretty much like any of their heavy songs for training.  Asche zu Asche is great.

Yeah, that one is awesome.  Benzin is probably my favorite... starts out with that buildup and explodes.

Their lyrics don't even make sense in German.  But what the hell... beats the heck out of whatever rap or pop crap is on TV or the radio at the gym.
