"BROTHERS OF IRON"
« on: September 28, 2006, 03:12:58 PM »
I just received the latest issue of MD and started reading John Ramonos article which appears to be excellent, but I noticed that his is about 8 pages and the one FLEX ran last month is only 4 pages and 1 full page picture. It seems that MD is promoting the WEIDERS book more than their old magazine, and MD can't get OLYMPIA PRESS PASSES, what a shame. MD truly covers the sport.
GOOD JOB JOHN, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

MAYBE PETER SHOULD WRITE AN APOLOGY TO HIS OLD BOSS AND TELL HIM THAT HE WAS WRONG MD DOES DO A BETTER JOB COVERING THE SPORT.

...what?  So Romano writes long articles.  So what.  His Balco/Congress articles were long and boring too.  You gotta fill that mag with 'something' other than Shartpants Valentino and bogus QnA's you've read hundreds of times!  Plus, that 8 pages coulda been hot chicks but we all know that MD would be a distant 3rd (if it isn't already) if it had the chicks, but couldn't be sold in Walmart and other supermarket type stores.

What I'm saying is MD is boring.  Deal with it.  Did you count how many useless pages Valentino filled this month?...hmm...let me check....ah, April 2005 MD....6 pages for ol's Shartpants Valentino!  ...and trust me, that was a rather short one. Thank God!

PS ...MD using up space to fill it's pages with reviews happens all the time....Ron Harris did a play by play of at least 3 bodybuilding DVD's I can think of....I'd rather watch the DVD, thanks.

Yea...it took Ron 'Greasy Mountain of Ebony Muscle' Harris 6 issues to cover Jay's dvd and 4 issues to cover a weekend at Ronnie's crib.

Almost as funny as 'The Journey' from animalpak.com

It's on week 10 and it started 7 months ago. I guess in the 'animal kingdom' every 2-3 weeks in OUR time is ONE in theirs.

Yea...it took Ron 'Greasy Mountain of Ebony Muscle' Harris

....BWHAHAHAHHAA, I was gonna mention ol' MOUNTAIN OF EBONY too, but I knew somebody would chime in!...

....MD is like a textbook....just as boring, but without any real knowledge to be applied.  If someone can find actual INFORMATION on working out and losing mass in any sort of detail in MD, please let us know about it.  I can feel my muscles shrinking already!!

MD has workout info every month from pros and amateur. Not like FLEX who focuses on Arnold, Dorian, Nasser, and other non-competing pros. Nothing against these guys but I think most people want to hear about the competitors who are active now. Plus MD has really started putting emphasis on top amateurs.

..what's that?...NOBODY posted any information they used to a positive benefit in terms of training and diet from MD?...

..that's right.  Hey, MD is great for goya beans and Shartpants Valentino.

HEY, dudes at MD!..nice to see that you managed to piss of the right people at EXACTLY the right time!...no press passes for the BIGGEST UPSET in Mr O history!!!

...plus, when's the last time you guys had Cutler on your cover?....oh yeah, I forgot....you plastered the EX-MR O Ronnie C on that last issue...good call, fellas!  MD is no more a harbinger of change to bodybuilding than any other magazine...just more boring, that's all.
