I don't know. I started on Mayhem, and I post both here and Mayhem. Mayhem is different, they protect each other, and those who are part of the family. But you can speak your mind, and as far as Massive goes, I have to say...He has always been respectful to me, supported me, even when he did not believe in the PDI, he still beilieved in me. You have to respect that. Also, i find less bashing there. I mean, come on let's be honest, you guys are tough, to the point of just being mean. Soemone stated, "Rhino, now that life as you know it has come to end, you should take a shotgun and blow your head off" Now, seriously, there is nothing productive about that statement, let alone, it being seriously off the mark.

Mayhem's rep is not all peachy though. They do have a rep as an asskissing board. I will never forget one thread, you posted in it, where some girl posted her pics. I don't want to call her name as that is mean, but bottom line the girl looked like crap. She was maybe 170lbs, 40% BF+ and 'okay' in the face. Not ugly, but not really pretty. Body was very jello-like and did not resemble a gym goer at all. Someone merely said that her body was not that great - and they were flamed to a crisp. Tons of other people came in the thread saying how great she looked. Bottom line - the girl was overweight.

Here at getbig, one will be flamed quite harshly but a compliment means alot. At Mayhem, people are kinder but compliments are a dime a dozen. If I posted my pics here [which I wouldn't..hehe] I would take any compliments to heart, as they are few and far between.

Different strokes for different folks. Some people are offended here because they should be by some of the nasty things. Others are offended beacuse they simply read the truth.

I like both boards myself. Here is my 'home' as I enjoy the humor but I read Mayhem all the time. Mayhem's girl section is more active than ours.

I know the girl you are talking about, and I told her not to post pics anymore. As I agree, if you are going to post pics, be prepared. Many were protecting her, as she is young, and fragile, you know. But I agree, post pics at your own risk.

My issue is not that, it is when people say things that are just mean for the sake of being mean. Like"Go blow your head off" Nothing good can come of a statement like this......

Freedom of speach is important, I just think that at somepoint, discretion should be exercised.

Tell me, how would a person feel, if they told someone else to "blow their head off" and then the person did just that. Even though obviously more would have been going on than just that statement, but I bet that person would wish they never said that.

I was basically one of the first people on Muscle Mayhem.  I was asked to come from Meso-Rx because I was "interesting" as they would say. 


Back in the old days, Mayhem was just that...Mayhem.  Now its basically no different than Big Brother.  Look at all the Google Ads and stuff up there.  The site now benefits to make money.

Chris Mason and eventually myself were practically shunned from the site after Chad opened up his E-fitstore. 

What really pissed me off the most was when McFarland's post was edited by a mod named Sizzle Chic and instead of her being punished he got banned.  True Adonis suffered a similar fate which was bullshit as well and when I went to back for him, well I basically got slammed for it.


I've never been banned from Muscle Mayhem but I have to say that its sad too see the state of it now.  Its membership has dropped out of the bucket.  They are still talking about me even though I rarely go there anymore which is pitiful to say the least.



Ron keeps it real around here.  Doesn't go around editing post or try to make money off of anyone.  That's why Getbig.com beats MM by a mile and if MD kicked Massive Fat Ass G off the mod forum then they are going in the right direction.

MattC, it is cool to see someone on here say something about this whole thing.  The funny thing is that pretty much all of us from both boards read each one.  A lot of you that talk shit here, go over there under a different handle, and are the ones that are always on your knees I bet.  I say what I want to say there, and have never been banned or deleted.  They do sometimes overeact to peeps with low post counts, but that is just to send a message to keep trolls away.

The really big difference between the boards is the ages of the people that post IMO.  I would guess that most on MM are 30 and over, and most here are younger than 30.  I love this board....to read.  Very rarely posted here and I was reading this board way befor MM.  The problem here is that you have some people that have 10 different accounts with over 1,000 posts on each one, and half of the shit they write is "owned, monster, brutal, epic," etc........  Funny to an extent, but it gets old trying to sift through that crap.
