MattC, it is cool to see someone on here say something about this whole thing.  The funny thing is that pretty much all of us from both boards read each one.  A lot of you that talk shit here, go over there under a different handle, and are the ones that are always on your knees I bet.  I say what I want to say there, and have never been banned or deleted.  They do sometimes overeact to peeps with low post counts, but that is just to send a message to keep trolls away.

The really big difference between the boards is the ages of the people that post IMO.  I would guess that most on MM are 30 and over, and most here are younger than 30.  I love this board....to read.  Very rarely posted here and I was reading this board way befor MM.  The problem here is that you have some people that have 10 different accounts with over 1,000 posts on each one, and half of the shit they write is "owned, monster, brutal, epic," etc........  Funny to an extent, but it gets old trying to sift through that crap.

Im not going to flame but i am going to say what i think about a particular sentence in that post "most on mm are 30 and over and her are younger than 30" a lot of you guys say things like this all the time and its just a polite way of trying to say were immature kids, this is the kind of snobbery that people here hate about mayhem.

I know for a fact theres loads of posters here over 30, the difference is that they dont take things as seriously as people on mayhem and instead of crying and/or melting down/getting a mod to delete, they just laugh it off because they are confident in themselves and know that its just the internet and just a laugh, i think its the people on mayhem who need to grow up and not take everything so seriously, dont you get sick of licking everyones ass all the time and walking on eggshells round mods in case you upset them?

Now this is an intelligent, and respectful post.  Well, except for the licking ass part.  lol
I really didn't mean to imply that a younger age means everyone is immature.  There certainly are a lot of people over 30 here as well, but the post counts are dominated by those under.  Would you at least agree with that?  Again, I think there is some funny shit posted here, but there is a ton of nonsense and grandstanding too.  There are some very intelligent people here that are deep into and well connected in the industy.  Btw, Incredibulk is from Mayhem is a teenager and everyone gets along with the guy.  One of my favorite posters there.  Age is irrelevent except for the different ways that the generations communicate.  Once you get past that, there are some great lessons to be learned from both sides.  I do disagree with you about the confidence level though.  The look at me type posts scream insecurity.  Mayhem is not about ass kissing, (although it does happen) it is more about being supportive to each other.
