Yeah, if this one doesn't go too well, and everyone starts placing blame, I don't see how the webcaster can blame anyone but themselves. Physical limitations can be removed with money; a poor webcast both nights couldn't be blamed on some event. Would just be inadequate bandwidth. I know I'm always the first one to smell a potential conspiracy- but if fingers start pointing, I hope they bring a really good set of reasons too.

I know nothing about webcasting. But surely if they are charging $22 they should not be using cheap labour?

Since there is an additional package for sale for Sat night only, I wonder if they're "holding back" for tomorrow. Doubt it.

Sad thing is that there isn't much accountability for this - no refunds, and since the O is gonna be sitting at a garage sale table on Oct 1, seems unlikely another other than short term gain would be this year's goal.

You may not be able to do a refund, but you can always do a chargeback on a cc transaction. If they start getting enough of them, I guarantee you they will agree to refund instead. What do you mean about the garage sale comment? Are you hearing the rumor that's been posted on MD forums?

No - I think it's pretty well known that AMI will be selling off the Olympia promotion next year. Lots of rumors about who will get it, where it will be, etc. AMI is scaling back.

Anyone have link to the threads on it from a few weeks back?

I really hope this is true. I hope that this is MD's big announcement, and that Blechman is taking over. Say what you will about that little fucker, but he definitely has a passion for this sport and that is exactly what it needs again.

Ironman mag has never had the tension with Flex/ M&F/ IFBB that MD has. That could be the hold up.......that and Blechman's "Natural all the way baby" shit.

I don't really know that I like him, but no matter what, he's always been pro bb in some form or another. Phillips is the best example of someone that was just in it for the money. I do think he has compromised his integrity by flip floppin over the years. Weider was a shit too, but you can't deny that he loved the sport and that it wouldn't be anything without him.
