He really has a great physique and its a shame to see it go to waste. If he continues to overtrain his career is gonna go down the toilet. With some new size I beleive he can hold his own next to melvin, phil, and Lee.

Darrem has very good symmetry & a pleasing body going by the general public's standards.Saying that, the guy competes way too much & it hurts him because of that imo.I've never liked the fact that I find his musculature has a "stringy" look to it (& no, not talking striations) which maybe is a result of too many contests?This guy can get in shape.IMO he should qualify & then just bring it to the Mr O.What kind of shape could he bring there if that was the only comp. he prepped for?

It's too bad. Changing the judging criteria i bit and put Darrem
top 6. Bodybuilding desperately needs rolemodels like Darrem.
Wanting to look like Darrem Charles must be much healthier then
to strive for Jay's physique, IMO.

Listen to what you just said! A guy who has won 7 shows in the last 5 seasons should retire. There are IFBB pros that would KILL to have the "struggles" that Charles has had of late. Not to mention that he made the top 10 at the Olympia last year.

However, Darrem is doing more harm than good (to himself), all for $10k shows, to me it doesn't seem worth it..    Should he be knocking on the door (top 5) for the big dance i.e Olympia & Arnold, (IMO) that would be a different story.

none sene DAREM has lots to offer, he has an incredible sweep, small joints round muscle bellies!!! do not agree at all

But for an up-and-coming phenom, Charles would have three wins under his belt. Most of the time, he makes more money at the smaller shows than he does at the Olympia, anyway.

Again, 7 wins is hardly a sign that Charles should throw in the towel. He normally shows up in great shape, as he did in Colorado and New York. From the looks of it he simply entered too many shows. And though it took him a while, he finally got his 2006 win in Atlantic City (I believe).

Darrem must look better in person than in photos. I have always considered he had a weird physique. So what if he gets ripped for contests? That shouldn't be enough to beat guys like Ronnie Rockel. Good for him to have won so many contests. He wouldn't get my vote.
