Every Mr. Olympia since 1983 has won because of their BACK

Its the reason ronnie won all of his...Haney won all of his...Dorian won all of his and why Jay won this one...It shouldn't be a shock to anyone, Ronnie included...The back wins it everytime...

Congrats to Jay for really bringing up his back...Although i believe Ronnie injured his in some way and it may have been a diff/story if Ronnie had some kind of back but you have to give credit where credit is due...

I see Jay winning one or maybe two more before guys like Victor-melvin and Phil Heath catch up...

The back seems to seperate the best from the rest at all levels of competition.

People are acting like Jay's back is now on another level.

it is not.

Hell, its not even as good as ronnie's 2005 version.

Jay's back looked good because Ronnie's looked bad.

thats my point. Jay's back looked good because Ronnie's was soft and injured.

even in 2005, Ronnie had a better back:



in 2006, Jay still had rolls of loose skin on his lower back.

Skin? What about Ronnies huge obliques noticeable from the back in that picture? Ronnie lost man. Just accept it. Pretty much everyone at the I had him winning. Why would pros and writers go for Ronnie last year and not this one. He was not as good as Jay last night. Vein X clearly stated Ronnie's back looked fine. Vein X was there and a HUGE Ronnie fan. No noticeable tears. he scoffed at how good it looked and how jay ran in fear aaahah. You all are saying injury caused him to lose because you guys are sore over it!

No Body88, the reason that the pros were picking Jay is they all saw what everyone else saw.  Ronnie is a shell of his former self.  His back double bi is a half-back double bi.  Hell, Dex out-muscled him this show.  Jay beat him, no doubt from the pics.  However, it is akin to beating a fighter who has a broken hand.  Ronnie is finished.  Jay got this one.  However, to even compare him to Yates or Coleman in their primes is absolutely resolutely laughable.  Cutler would not have even been top three at many of the shows that Dorian won from 1994-1997.

Hell, Ronnie at his best had better ABS for god's sake! How often does THAT happen?!?

no disrespect intended for Jay, but just because he won does not mean he had a physique anywhere near comparable when you look at the two at their bests.
