This is offseason and he needs the extra muscle for the 2007 ASC. When those delts and back widen out and he hits around 230lb competition weight he will be unstoppable. Look out for him.

as soon as he made pro, he started growth. he will be twenty pounds heavier next year. i see him competin in march at 230

He did look a little heavier at the expo. Phil is doing what he needs to but also has a strong opinion about what a BBer is supposed to look like. At the expo, he said, you'll never see a gut or lumpy muscles on him. He wants to be able to show his pic to athletes outside BBing and have a physique that they will admire.

Look for Phil with another quality 10lbs next year. At that point, we may have a new Mr. O.

Phil beat DArrem twice and they looked close to the same size...And Darrem is tiny and looked so at this years olympia...For Phil to really be the next Mr. O, he would have to put on 25 to 30 pounds....A few years away for sure...

Correct. He is about the size as Charles in contest shape...currently. Still cant see how he would be a contender for the A vs more developed and seasoned O top 6ers except for Anthony aka I put it together for one show. Needs to stop making all those faces too.

i think so by taaking most of the year after his 2 pro debut wins i think so nexy year phil is gonna come huge and striated...i think so he will win nexy years arnold classic..he is looking somewhat bigger than jay in that pic

I have a feeling we will see a little change in the trends to favor shapely physiques. I think the judges are getting the message and now that Ronnie is dethroned, I think even he knows he has to come in harder and 10-15lbs lighter.

I think if Phil can add 15lbs or so, he could be the next mr. O. He has full muscle bellies and does not have a large bone structure so he can be 225-230lbs onstage ripped and look much bigger. All about illusion and shape. I think he was 215lbs on stage this year...somewhere around there.

Yep. heath is blowing up this year. Let's hope he retains the good lines when he's 14 pounds heavier next year
