Anyway...a lot of this is GetDumb BS...as usual.  No one on here has a clue what his 40 was at Grambling, how many reps he could do 225 for or his vertical.  Would have probably been a 2nd team SS or special teamer if he had stayed injury free in college...that's if he could have made a roster.  I know a guy who coaches in NOLA who played FS for the Southern Jags during Ronnie's run.  I'll ask him if he remembers Mr Coleman.  Keep the stupid talk going as usual.

BTW....5'11" 205 or so would have been good for a SS in the NFL in the early 90s.  Obviously...he seems to have a lot of natural strength.  He could be built up to at least 220 or so in an NFL program.

The drugs have just enhanced what was already there.  Do you really think True Donkey is in Ronnie class on the football back in the day or in a weight room naturally.

ARe you guys really that dumb?

Strength means dick.  Speed is more important. Control, agility, reaction time. ACTUAL SKILL.

Big Muscles don`t translate into much of anything.  Power is nothing without control.

Athletes all have respective bodytypes and a PRO bodybuilder is not suited for much of any.

Being a bodybuilder doesn`t automatically make you a gifted athlete or fighter or anything.

Some of the best athletes don`t even lift weights.

And quite a few of them do.  And he was  a gifted athlete prior to bodybuilding.

He played football in school....not saying bodybuilders can be football players Adonis....Wondering how since he was such an awesome athlete, strong, and played football not getting to the nfl.  He says this during the intro before his routine "i dreamed about being a pro football plater...and when that didnt happen..."

5'11" is tall enough to be a linebacker, look at the Dallas Cowboy linebacker, damn whats his name...mason? hes like 5'9"

Not really. All else equal, the more powerful athletes win. That's part of why even baseball's filled with roids & lifting and a big part of why Bonds got better with age. Along with faster bat reaction time he could also muscle the ball over the fence. Some BBs are athletic, there's no way to generalize.

5'11" would've been good enough to play, even now. He was either injured or not quite special enough in various areas. Extra strength isn't the same or as important as power. Power's key; strength by itself doesn't help much.

He is naturally an athlete...I wonder what he didnt have to be a pro football player...just commentating on what he said before his routine...how he always wanted to be a pro football plyer...

Wasnt he a linebacker in college? I remember seeing pics of him and he was huge even naturally, while playing football...

Ronnie played div I football for Grambling U near Monroe La. I belive he got a BA in accounting while there.
I read he was very strong in the powerlifts as well while there as a young man.

with 30% of the NFL using GH and slin BIG RON would be able to hit 225 easily nowadays..with his cat-like reflex response to peptide hormones--there is no test for gh, slin or igf in any organiztion currently including the IOC

If you guys think Ronnies ability to get huge has any bearing on his football skills you need to watch more football. Ronnie did not have the size nor speed needed to come even close being a linebacker in the nfl. 5'11 200 bills aint shit in the nfl. For a linebacker that is miniscule. He couldent take all the shit he does now either. I would love to see some of the most elite physical freaks in the nfl bodybuild. Now that would be something to see.

Not saying Ronnie was not a decent athlete. But suprised he is not a pro football player? Why since he can get huge of tons of drugs and working out as a job? Ronnie was VERY impressive against the average sized guy. But he was a twerp compared to some of the freaks that play in the NFL.

Remember Ronnie had low bodyfat at 200 lbs. Show us a picture of these so called freaks you're referring to that would make 20lbs Ronnie look like a twerp. I'm waiting for the pics.

I have no pictures of starting linemen in the nfl shirtless. Sorry boss. Bodyfat means nothing. If a starting linebacker is faster taller and weighs more bodyfat percentage means shit.

Ronnie being 5'11...I don't think so...their is a picture of adonis with ronnie and adonis has him by 2 inches(didn't adonis say he was 5'10)...and in some photos ronnie looks to be shorter then Jay....Jay is 5'9(but closer to 5'8)in real life..

So Ronnie might be 5'9...He couldn't play college div. 1 or 2 ball as a linebacker at that height

Exactly. these guys think since Ronnie can bench alot and puts on muscle like an alien with the aid of massive amounts of drugs he is isnt just another sub 6 foot 200 lb football player. I played with many guys like this. The pros are the best of the best. If ronnie had the skill he would be in the nfl. I am not saying the guy was not a great athlete but the NFL is the best of the best.

Who cares what his bodyfat was and the muscle he carried. A 6'2 linbacker with 12 percent bodyfat at 240 lbs that is faster and more skilled would eat his ass up no matter how good he looked with his shirt off.

To be undersized and in the NFL you need exceptional skill. That is on top of amazing talent to begin with.

5'9 and up
215lb and up (7 extra lb/inch minimum if taller than 5'9)
8-15%
injectables + orals offseason
orals onseason for maintanance
growh + slin-optional through out the year (started late 90s)

those are the minimum standards for MAJORITY of nfl players since late 70s

If he's anywhere near 5'11", which is likely, he'd be tall enough to be an NFL LB. Don't get suckered by the NFL stats, some of which are inflated.

It doesn't matter how big he was; he could have sucked at football for all we know. Has anyone actually seen him play or know what he ran the 40 in? He could be slow as hell, even at a lighter bodyweight.

Ob not... They think since Ronnie lifts alot of weight and is huge he is an elite athlete. Ronnie himself said his dream was to be a nfl player. If he was good enough I would think he would have followed his dream. I know plenty of people who have good genetics who cannot play a sport for shit.

Although I do think Ronnie is a freak of nature.
