They were both fantastic in their prime. Who was better? In a two man Mr. Olympia competition who takes home the sandow?

I know these two pictures suck but I'm having a hard time finding good competition pictures of Lee.

Lee's arms are insane. They might even be more impressive than Coleman's at least when proportion is factored in.

Shawn had a better back than Lee. Arms are the the only real advantage Lee has.

Shawn is the better bodybuilder. Lee has some crazy arms!!!! but overall shawn was a great competitor. He's a f-ing asshole, but an awesome bodybuilder.

Im the biggest lee priest fan in the world but i have to say Shawn Ray at his best is a better complete package than anything we've seen from Lee Priest. Keep in mind complete package, Lee has better arms no doubt.

hes far! from asshole,,maybe on board he is,, but he knows his bodybuilding very very VERY well from all aspects.
insted of comparing priest to ray you should compare ray to labrada,,both top 10 bodybuilders of all time.

In a winner take all competition where they're both in the best condition of their lives does Shawn win easily or is it a battle? I think it's easy to discount Lee because of Shawn's fantastic balance and structure but Lee can look so impressive.

I'd love to see it.

Shawn, but not by much... they were both consistent top 10 Olympia.

But shawn hasn't been an in-shape bodybuilder for a half-dozen years... Lee's still competing and winning.

I like both...touch decision. Lee's arms are the sickest....but everything else is Shawn all the way.

In a contest.....I would take Shawn over Lee...100%

Thanks for the remarks and I guess the comparisons.
I'm older than Lee but he started BBing younger than I did I believe he was 13 and I was 17.
At 24 I placed 3rd in the 1990 Mr. O after placing 13th in my 1st Olympia 1 day after turning 23.
Regardless, I believe being that Lee and I are both Vertically Challenged we've beaten some pretty Big guys and that in and of itself speaks volumes to what we've both accomplished.
Lee is a tough son of a gun.
