im right here so what do dream up stories i was there dude i would like to no your name and as far as goodrich yea he did beat cleve but cleve was in the hospital for 4 months prior to that year before cleve swept him and john if only me wants to talk about a future match i will give you my number its 304 845 1090 call anytime

Cleve was a decent guy. He was guest ref at an AAU meet I did back around 1979 on Pease AFB in Portsmouth NH. I won the Lt hvy class and got to pull with Cleave for fun as did the other wt class winners. He was good natured and we made a show of it. I almost crapped my pants when I locked up with that monster, his hands and wrist were so thick I felt like a bear paw had grabbed my hand!
Needless to say, he beat me.

I never said Cleve pulled John in truckers division. FIrst of all I didn't even care who was in that division cause I know I wasn't. John won the truck and I think Eddie Arnold complained because John didn't have truckers license or something like that not sure exactly what happend.

I did beat Cleve and you ask every person there including Marvin Cohen (the promoter) who won that match and they will say me. Now here comes the politics. After the match was over which was over a minute long, the referees decided to call a foul on me for touching my arm with my shoulder (this was after declaring me the winner). They wanted a Scott Norton/Cleve Dean final and they had no idea I was going to do that to Cleve. I complained to Marvin who was the promoter (and later I became 1/3 owner of the IAC with Marvin). I was defitnieoly not the favortie going into this event. But after beating a guy from Florida who I can't remember his name and Bruce Wey and a couple other guys I was a contender. Marvin said he had to do what he had to do. He said Keith if Cleve agrees to amrwrestle you again in a rematch then I will let you do it. I went over to Cleve and he was with his doctor that traveled with him (Cleve weighed about 660 then). and the doctor profussly told me NO WAY would he allow Cleve to get back up there. I looked at Cleve and he said no way. So, I ended up lsing. SO you are right in saying I didn't officially beat Cleve, but in reality I did and it is something I was proud of.

And were you at the Over The Top in Vegas. And who is going to the Arnold Cleve? I haven't armwrestled in 20 years. Is Cleve going to armwrestle their. He will get killed if he does. I am pretty sure Travis Bagent will kill him as will most other guys. I would think he is over the hill now.
