What was Adam's body weight in the Mr. Getbig?
Needless to say, I agree that 200 pounds ripped at 5'10 is around the max. This is not meant as an insult as hard natural trainers, it's just that the human body is not meant to gain more muscle than that.
But there ARE genetic freaks out there. One guy I know is 5'7 and 170 totally shredded and contest ready and natural. At least I am pretty sure he is natural because he is poor and can't avoid gear - but he may be on. If he is, he must always be on because he always looks that way. He looks incredible. I will try to get some pics up, although I think most would agree on here he is probably juicing, despite his claims. Another person I know deadlifted 500 with only one year training. That's amazing because after six years training I can only deadlift in the 400s. It would be generous to say 450, so I won't. So yes, some freaks exist.
Yes, there are freaks. When I was around 20 yrs old or so, I was training near Boston in a World Gym. I was natural but trained very hard for about 4 yrs. Many people thought I was "on". There was this guy, this mamaluke who had a mullet, trained in jeans and workboots, and kept to himself. He was 6' and 265, had a chest like Bolo Yeung and strong as a mule.
I assumed, like everyone else, that he was juiced to the gills. He denied it and denied it. He wouldn't get angry, just walked away and trained by himself. This went on for about a year. I got to know him pretty well. He was a very nice guy, his family owned a small restaurant and he would give me brisket and roast beef platters, cookies, whatever I wanted. He really was very cool.
As I grew to be friends with him, he confided in me that he wanted to juice. By this point, I semi believed him that he was natural. He never lost size, like one would when coming off, so I thought maybe it's true.
So soon after, he got a hold of some d bol and deca. LOL the 'Arnold' stack. Well, this fucker blew straight the hell up. He got leaner, harder, and was pushing 300 lbs, probably around 292 or so. He was inclining 4 plates easy for reps. His arms were 22", his chest now looked like balloons with striations. His legs, always a weak point, blew up too. Guy looked like a national level competitor in 8 weeks flat.
Anyway, I moved away shortly after, and haven't heard too much about him since. But man, I'll tell you that boy was a freak of nature...
