Sorry to burst your bubble but they got the shirts the next day.  If you want one just contact Wayne DeMilla.  If not just jsut keep wearing the IFBB bib.

If the first event had T shirts, then the PDI would be in a whole new league by now. Seriously, how do you run a show without T shirts?

Simple you run it like it was run.  Successfully, nice try though.  Did you get your shirt from the Atlantic City Pro or the Toronto Pro yet.  I know you collect them.  Call Wayne for the NOC shirt.

Oh was wondering how much you lost from the t-shirts not being there.  Nothing like the Webcast at the #1 IFBB in the world ripping off people is it.  kind of puts things in perspective.  ANd I am here everyday and in fact was the one who posted that the shirts weren't there.  If I didn't post it not one person would know anything about the shirts.  I dont' hide from anything.  And no one lost any money but me and Wayne.  And me and Wayne are fine now.  So you should whine about the webcast that actually took fans money and still has not come on here to answer questions.

You don't see people bitch about the shirts, because you explained the situation as it happened.

Compare that to how Wheeler is doing right now, with the webcast flaws. That shit will stick to him for awhile, and I doubt he will get to do the show next year.

If you're pro-PDI, I'd suggest you refrain from commenting on the mess, because everyone will assume you have a hidden motive.

Wheeler's done it all to himself, and people are pissed, rightfully so.

It's a PR disaster.

I think that the PDI will limp along with a handfull of quality phsiques and moderate size crowds.
I think that the concept is valid and respect Wayne D, etc. However, in my opinion, a 2nd major pro organization in bodybuilding is like a 3rd party in American politics. It just won't ever gain much traction, UNLESS the IFBB self destructs on its own, which is unlikely based on the success and buzz from the recent OLympia.

We've heard nothing after the NOC, I thought there was supposed to be shows in Europe and elsewhere.  You guys were quick to jump on Shawn after the Colorado Pro Show, yet it has been quiet after NOC.  This is a serious question, as a competitor, I would love for the PDI to succeed and give us more opportunities, maybe 240, Rhino, or Lee could clarify this .

Very legitamite question. PDI is here and to stay. There will be upcoming anouncements including a schedule of around 10-12 shows as well as a website, and radio program.

Also, British NOC October 21st.

Any other questions, feel free to diect them to me.

Sounds like they're for real.

Onlyme sounds passionate, has backed up everything he's said, and the first to point out things they didnt deliver on(like the flippin t-shirts). With an individual with as much experience and know-how, coupled with drive and belief, you can go very far.

As for Wayne, no intro needed. Man can put up a show. And a half.

Slowly but surely the IFBB athletes will jump ship, its not something that happens overnight, guys have to consider their decision and future carefully.
So far, with all due respect, its been second to third tier pros, with exception of Lee, but you'll see the bigger names start doing the transition once theres a couple of shows uder PDI's belt. Its a big move and you've gotta check out situation before jumping ship.
Obviously the handfull of  athletes that the Weider/AMI empire look after, will feel no need for a change, since they've got it good.
Once theres a few shows, and enough higher-profile athletes, the you'll see the emmergence of a magazine and a website, as well as other marketing materials(the t-shirts). Create something credible first, and then push it, not a dream, or idea.
Where the PDI is gonna differ from WBF is that they're creating  full-on federation with amateur and pro ranks, and a proper infrastructure, not a road-show spinoff from wrestling. Also the man leading the "federation", is highly experienced and respected in an endeavour where hardly anyone gets either.
Its gonna take a while, years, but we're gonna see a proper real-deal federation with mainstream marketing, and dare I say appeal?

I'd say they're for real. And eventually, we'll be discussing the merit of the IFBB sticking around.

..who cares if the PDI is here to stay?...it's a second tier organization.  Guys who can't make it in the IFBB will ALWAYS have a home in the PDI...and that's the way it's going to be until you get a PDI "pro" who can BEAT a top IFBB pro.  Other than Lee, it's got nothing going on for it.

If it offers a DIFFERENT product than the IFBB, and actually goes to a form of judging which rewards physiques that are aesthetic and balanced (think 80's and 90's) then at least they'll have THAT and I'll support them.  But if they're just a place for IFBB LOSERS to compete, then why bother?

XFL anybody!!?!!?

2nd tier until they get to level where they can compete with IFBB. Obviously it would be stupid to move over if you're doing well at your curent federation. As I said, not overnight, give it time.

...I ain't holding my breath.  The only reason I'd pay attention to the PDI is if their athletes displayed a physique that wasn't a bloated mass monster type...something that didn't scream steroid abuse.  But since the majority of PDI people will always be up and comers, how can that happen?  And if what you say happens, a migration of IFBB pro's to the PDI over time, then you'll truly get a second tier organization....guys who can't make money in the IFBB.

What's a guy like Rodney thinking?...all that work to get his pro card in the NPC thrown away..oh well, there's always nude dancing.

One thing that I think will help the PDI grow is their international perspective. The IFBB is very US slanted. Like there are numerous pro cards avaailable for the US, and very few for the remaining 191 nations. Also, they drug test ppl from other nations, but not the Canadian and Americans, which of course, gives them the edge. I would expect to see some quality physiques coming from the international community.
