According to a few studies there's no need for vitamin pills - in fact they can be counterproductive in some cases.
I used to take mineral and vitamin supplements , now I try to eat more fruits and veggies - feeling better that way.
They can be beneficial during a strict diet or when taken accordingly to your needs but most of these A-Z 100% supps are useless.
I still take about 1000mg of vit c and heaps of fish oil..
Ontopic : My vote goes to protein powder of course.
your probably correct.......a multivitamin is cheap, so its no sweat off my balls to buy centrum or whatever....i like to err on the side of cution
perhaps there is something in those pills, a clacium, zinc, or iron that will contribute to my overall well being.............but of course most of it is pissed out
so you are basically pissing out money, and you can tell because after you take a vitamin your urine is flourescent yellow
something about whole food, the nutrients are more bioavailable, then the same nutrients in pill form
