No it's not. You are just another one of the many millions of brainwashed sheep who blindly follows what your religion tells you, and accepts what it says, without questioning or evaluating it to any extent. You'd have a different opinion if you thought for yourself, which you of course, won't do.

You can bet your 42 virgins that if the Koran told you that the pig is a noble animal and it's meat is divine, you'd be singing it's praises here like you do your hero's physique.

Again, every meat has potential health risks. If your tradition does not allow it or you simply don't like it, that's your decision.

Just about everybody I know eats pork on a regular basis and I know of absolutely noone who has ever had a single problem because of pork. I know of many people, myself included, who had problems with just about any other meat there is, but never pork. My conclusion is that it is actually the safest meat there is, everything else is stupid propaganda. Please keep it out of this thread.

I like hot links, bacon, ham (not lunch meat :-X) and chitterlings ;D

Chitterlings and hog maws.
Real delicacy there.  I only eat it when my mom or sister cooks them.

Once every couple of years.

DISEASES CAUSED BY PORK

The  following lists show germs or parasites that are  found
in   pork  and      some  diseases caused by them. Many of these
diseases  are contagious while some are proven fatal. This proves
that the more  science  advances the more Islam is shown correct
as a religion of God.

 PARASITIC DISEASES

   a)  TRICHINELLA  SPIRATIS  ( Trichina worms )
It is the most dangerous parasite to man ( Rheumatism and
muscular  pain). The infected persons shown no symptoms, recover
very slowly some die, some  reduced to permanent invalids. No one

You people eat dogs and cats and shit.  Sick fuckers.
Most are all show no go!

Pork stir fry - Chinese style flavouring.

Perfect.

Pork can be among the most tender meat if cooked well.

With blackcurrant preserves and dijon mustard.

Recipe calls for:

1/4 cup black currant preserves [jam would work fine too imo but intact currants look nicer]
1 and 1/2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard [about 1/3 as much mustard as preserves I guess]
6 chops
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
Salt & pepper
A garnish of watercress

Adjust accordingly for more or less than 6 chops but amounts are not critical.

-Mix the preserves and mustard together in a bowl.

-Pan fry the chops briefly until lightly browned each side.  Reduce the heat to low.

-Throw some salt & pepper on 'em and spoon the preserves/mustard mix onto the chops.

-Cover and cook on low heat until done (don't overcook imo, but you pays your money and you takes your choice).

-When cooked, remove chops from pan (and put in the oven to keep warm) and turn up the heat on the pan.  The recipe calls for the vinegar to be added immediately to deglaze the pan, but my pan had plenty of liquid in it.  Tight lid I guess.  I cooked off some of the water then added the vinegar and let it bubble away over a medium heat for another 2 mins or so.  Simply cook until the sauce is thickened to your liking, bearing in mind it will thicken slightly as it cools.

-Throw the chops on a plate, pour the sauce over, and garnish if you're trying to impress someone.

Basic, fast, easy process and ingredients, knockout flavor.

and it's the most infected and disease carrying animal
copy and paste from google
- Fish and Seafood. Fish is getting a good reputation these days. We are told to eat
fish due to its richness in omega 3 oils. That is too bad, because fish and seafood
are some of the worst foods we can eat.

Fish has a tendency to putrefy much faster than meat - perhaps because it contains
more protein. If you put a piece of meat and a piece of fish next to each other in the
open air, you'll see that fish will go bad much faster. In our digestive tract, heat and
humidity encourage this putrefaction. The poisons then created from the
putrefaction of flesh foods, particularly fish, are dangerous to the system.

On top of that, there is absolutely no safe fish on this planet anymore. They are all
more or less contaminated with heavy metals such as mercury, whose effects on the
human body are extremely detrimental and difficult to deal with. We know that 40
tons of mercury are released into the US by power plants using coal combustion.
The mercury contained in coal moves through the air, finds its way into the water
and then accumulates in the flesh of fish that live in it. For that reason, there is no
safe fish anymore. Just one serving can contain enough mercury or other heavy
metal to contaminate a person. For all of those reasons, I would recommend
avoiding fish like your life depended on it. Is seafood any better? It's actually worst.
Animals such as lobsters, oysters, etc., are literally filters of the ocean. A large
quantity of water goes through them which makes them some of the most
contaminated “foods” on this planet.
