So, for 0.45", which I could just round up and claim 7", why not?

I believe bigger is better for women TO A POINT.

I have a friend who is just under 8", and it almost didn't work out with his girlfriend.

Also, if the vaccine reduced the rate at which I am getting white hairs!!!

I would take a risky medication for either of those, yes.

Or to gain 3cm in height [to be 5'10"].

I would get the vaccine for other reasons. If a super strong steroid came out that has the same risks as the vaccine, I would take it.

But why would I take a vaccine for a 99.9% survivable flu which I already had?

Truth be told, I have taken more dangerous things - and I will in the future.

But those things BENEFIT ME.

I don't think flu shots benefit me...they just prevent my immune system from doing the work.

Also, I am able to fully self-isolate at home, so I pose no risk to others. Why would I get vaccines in perpetuity?

I think most people get the first round of jabs in order to snuff out Covid. Since that clearly hasn't happened and won't happen - all we did by pushing vaccines is extend the time it took for humanity to reach herd immunity.

This is just one time that I don't think humans will be able to win - we are not masters of nature to the degree we believe, IMO.

My personal view is we should simply provide enhanced care to the vulnerable.

Beyond that, stay home while sick, and increase the number of sick days available, possibly. Also, since masks are SOURCE CONTROL, those sick with respiratory infection should wear masks when they leave. Although personally, I stay home completely while sick, just to be sure not to infect others.

There's just not much we can do.

I think Michigan did a much better job than almost anywhere in the world, especially Ontario, which is only JUST getting rid of the mask mandate next Thursday!!!
