how far away ya keep leg day from back day?
just some input..
doing legs on sundays isn't working out for me...usually no good spotters around..everyones walking around yawning..usually shit for music playing..
thinking about changing it to mondays(in that case back would be wed)...or thurdays(back would be on monday)..

doesn't matter really, you're overthinking it too much, the problem i found is that when you start worrying too much about this muscle interfering with that muscle and so on you get frustrated and confused, i use a big belt when i squat so i could train heavy back the day before legs and it doesn't affect my squats that much.

you're right...i'm worrying about it so much in these initial stages cause my recovery and endurance are not no where close to where they were before i quit....i'm just gonna have to add some light cardio for a little while to build it up..
in anycause your advice is sound advice..i swear i've ruined at least 2 good leg days in the last 2 weeks overthinking it midworkout and then getting pissed and just walking out of the gym..
i still cant/wont do legs sunday..i'll switch that to monday..1st thing in the workweek..chest tuedasy..back thurs..arms and shoulders fri..
i haven't touched my calves or abs yet.. :-\

Quads/hams on Tuesday, back on Thursday for me.

I also worry about some bodyparts affecting others. I don't train my abs the day before leg and back workouts so that they aren't aching for squats and deads!

I do legs every friday, then band plays on friday night. (I wait for sat if we play sat night)
After the weights, i do 30 min of intervals (1.5 mph/4.5mph alternating each minute) while I raise the incline from 1 to 15.
then I limp home, eat, deuce, shower, drink a half gal of water, drive to the show, then have 1-2 long islands before taking the stage. Play 4 hours, come home and have a giant chicken salad that i planned, crash, and wake up with some really sore legs.

I recommend you to do as far as possible.
If you train very hard,you will understand it.
Both muscle are big and exhaust a lot. Especially you cant do heavy intense squat after the day of heavy dead lift and bent over low. Both use back muscle intensely.
There was a term that i did it near and i was so exhaust and sometime i had a fever like flu.

I hit quads on Monday. They are my weak piont and hitting them after 2 days rest gives my the best workout with maxium energy. My 2cc's
Mon. Quads
Tue. Chest
Wed. Hams/Bi's
Thur. Shoulders/Trap's
Friday. Back/Tri's

And you still manage to not see that this was a controlled demolition, that buildings just don't fall like this without help from explosives.

workout timing..plus juice timing..just so that my prop fever is over by the time i hit the gym for squats...arrrgh...
i get it bad..like 1st half of the day i'm in bed..with a fever..flu like symptoms..cant lay on said asscheek..i'm constantly drinking water cause i'm constantly thirsty.. :(

Monday: Chest, Traps, abs
Tuesday: Back Shoulders
Wed: Rest
Thurs: Arms (and abs again).
Friday: Legs (entire leg, hams and Calves included)
My legs are a strong point. No need to do them earlier, though I have and probably will again.

I'm training legs on Mondays, currently. Sundays are back, so no big deal.
Just like a month ago, I was doing legs twice a week.

well 1 legs workout I will be doing squats, leg presses, front squats, ham curls and stiff leg deadlifts.
4 sets per exercise, reps between 6 and 8
the other workout it takes me about 30 minutes to finish it:
-deadlift with the bar behind my back for 12 reps
-leg presses for 8 reps
-leg extension for 20 reps
I do this tri-set 5 times
and that's it for the second days

Doesn't matter when you train legs, you shouldn't need spotters, lighten the weight and get an IPOD.

I keep three days between the two. I need the rest between stiff legged deads and regular deads. Also squats and dead lifts(for back) both take so much out of me. I think both are the hardest and demand the most attention.

Right now I train legs the day after back and my poundages have not decreased much.... I actually feel it has strengthened my lower back

I train legs the first day after a rest day during the week... so if I train 4 and take one off... day 5 becomes leg day, while if it's 3 on 1 off... day 4 is the day.
Basically, I have to have a complete day of mental prep before getting under the squat rack... mostly because I hate leg day, but I won't 1/2 ass it... so i need to prep myself

I don't correlate the 2, if I'm set up to do back the day after legs. so be it. My back is already f'd up so I just pop some motrin or advil and go to it.
