Post by: bigmoss on December 24, 2006, 02:26:54 PM

Try doing some bicep curls with it.  Don't let the increase in weight deter you from getting 10 solid reps in

Ironically, it is christmas day here in Australia and I have already listened to White Zombie.  Not something I do all that often thesedays.  I took teh ipod (ya, I have one.. but its an 80gig one, it stores a lot) into the toilet and listened to KMFDM, Strapping Young Lad, The Prodigy and Leftfield.

FYI White Zombie isn't satanic.  Its purely a soundtrack to b grade horror which Rob Zombie is endlessly fascinated in.  Rob Zombie does not worship the devil.  The music may sound satanic but it is simply theatre.

Exactly.

The "horror" theme/look for Rob Zombie is just his gimmick........

Havent you heard?  I am one of the founding members of Getbig's Witch Coven.  Many of the getbig veterans belong to this organisation.

(But at no time have I ever made the link from white zombie->satan).

I do quite often listen to Orbital - Satan though.. just for kicks.

not exactly, it depends on where you have to train. sometimes when your partner or the background music or whatever can just get on your damn nerves...personally i train without one, but every so often i need to get out my music.

I do cardio in mesh shorts and a hoodie, and I don't feel like carrying it in my hand. I didn't know a piece of fabric could be gay. Does it even have a penis? Even on Christmas you're obsessing over me, that's really sad. What a lonely life you must lead, having to cry out for attention on the internet on a day like this. Can't say I really feel bad for a clown like you, though.  ::)

as getbig's resident van halen expert, I'll go out on a limb and say you'll never hear anything "new" from van halen again...maybe a box set of old stuff that was never released but Eddie Van Halen is done like yesturday's dinner.

Hows the battery like on your ipod video?

Ah well I've only had it a month or so and really don't have anything to compare it to.  Plus I've not really used it atall for a few weeks as I've been away from work.  As far as the video capacity goes I've really only used it for about 5 minutes also  .  I assume there may be some heavier drain on batteries if one were to watch alot of video.

I'm supposed to have around 24 hours playtime per charge but who knows.. luckily I happen to have low impedance headphones (audio technica m30) so I can use them with the ipod and avoid the cursed buds.

I really got stuffed over by itunes reliance on ID3's though.  The whole collection is a mess.  Up until about 3 years ago I habitually removed all ID3's out of my collection because my filenames were great and I didn't like players showing incomplete and inferior details.. unfortunately that has really come back to bite me (ie, atleast half my albums are listed/played in the wrong order).  A lot of fixing up to be done.  I really hate the itunes interface.. boggles my mind that it can't rely on the very simple concept of directory structure.
