Title: Check out my new book, 12 Weeks to Beach Body Abs
Post by: myseone on June 12, 2007, 08:37:27 PM
I have written a book, the name of the title is 12 weeks to beach body abs. Essentially it is a 12 week exercise, nutrition and recovery program designed for building more muscular abs. The content is actually aimed towards building a total physique not just the abs.

Points covered within the book are:

Exercise choice
Repetition tempo for specific results
The use of intensity enhancers
How much rest to take between sets
Optimal exercise choice and form
How to determine you unique nutrient needs
What types of food to eat
Nutrient timing
Optimal use of regular cardio and interval cardio
and more

In the book I explain why you should be using specific exercise, tempo, rest, etc. protocols and how to manipulate them to get optimal results. The book contains 4 methods on determining your nutrient and caloric needs. The book contains a 12 weeks exercise plan with flexible options to keep your muscles responding.

The information in the book are methods that I have personally used on myself and others to create awesome progress drug free. Yes the information will produce awesome results for drug free trainees. To learn more about this book or to place an order for it visit my website

here is the front cover of the book

If you have any questions about the book place them in this thread

why is the title referring to abs when it's about more than that?

and some people might feel intimidated since you have a mean look in your face.

I will review this book briefly here before I post a more in depth review on my website.  Admittedly this book has been done before, but it is nevertheless very high quality.  It is basically perfect given what its goal is - which is to provide instructions for a complete full body workout and all the other related details that go along with it.  If you are interested in an easy to read and compact yet detailed manual, this book won't fail you.  While you can find the information available online, I like to have real books and magazines so that I don't need to be in front of the computer all the time.  :)

nononono!

what did i teach you here for over a year??? this is a discussion about abs,,it doesnt matter  how big you are you can be 130lb or 230lb your abs will not show if you hold too much subq water,,the way to get rid of these water is....all together now

1 AI AND OR ANTI ESTROGEN
2 OTC DURETIC FOR THE "NATURALS" AMONG US SUCH AS TARAXATONE WHICH IS VERY GOOD FOR PHOTO SHOOTS OF THE "NATURAL" ATHLETE,,OR IF YOU ARE MORE REALISTIC AND EXPERIENCED AND ALREADY ADMITED TO THE USE,,,DYAZIDE WHICH IS FAST DURETIC THAT WILL SPARE YOUR POTASSIUM AND WONT LEAVE YOU FLAT OR IN THE NEED OF COUPLE BANANAS EVERY DAYLIKE TARAXATONE

the above 2 rules are the key for ripped/shredded abs LEARN IT ALREADY
the need of aas for having nice set of abs is not there what so ever!

* workin them from time to time will do you well too! as well as keeping your diet intact so the duretics can actually do their thing;) they wont do shit for you if you are 15%

Nice job on the book, you look great. Just a couple of ideas:

*Smile, always smile, it's important, most people will be intimidated by looking mad on the cover. Look happy(people should think you are happy because of the great book...subliminal message and stuff)
*Pick flashier colours for the cover, this will not stand out, maybe something bright red and black for exaple.
*Centre the picture more, i.e. less legs -like from the waist up- and the whole face(smiling of course).

Just a couple ideas, i'd like to read it though.

Peace and goodluck.

FWIW,

I think the pic is terrible.

Why? Because it doesn't make any sense.

Beach abs? The pic should be of you on a beach then.

Sorry, just calling it like I see it.

Maybe Horton or some other good photographer who hangs on this site could offer their input, but that's my assessment at least.

I'm sure the content will be top class, hope you've used your art skills.

That is my smile :)

Yeah your points are well taken, if I'm working on having it published by a bigger publishing house (this was self published), which should help with getting the right message across regarding the cover. I designed everything in this book the cover, the layout, exercise schematics, etc. You live and you learn, overall I'm happy with the finished product.

Even though there is some footage on my DVD where I'm squatting over 1000lbs on the king squat machine, and doing leg extensions with 300-350lbs. I think.

What's not to believe, the king squat is a leverage machine and allows for big weight to be used, even though over 1000 lbs is still quiet strong; and leg extensions with 350 lbs is to expected with squats of that caliber. Besides 17 years of hard all out training has to count for something, its not my fault if you have limited scope.

In all seriousness......when someone claims a huge weight with a 'leverage machine'.....is it all the special?  I mean seriously, are we supposed to look simply at the number of "1,000" and gasp in amazement?  With all due respect, when someone throws out a number for a machine (smith, selectorize, etc) I dont really get all that impressed.  I was at a gym in Ft. Meyers (I think it is a Golds) that had this pull down machine that I had nearly 300lbs on.  The ones I was used to at home I am good with 220 - 240lbs on.

I personally would like to see the clip of the 1500lb one-leg leg press.  I dont see myself buying any books or DVD's ever again.  Show me ONE PIECE of information regarding exercise or diet that hasnt been put in any previously printed book and I will be shocked!  Also, please tell me you didnt 'fluff' your book up with 50+ pages of describing how to perform the exercises.

I never said that I did 1500 lbs with one leg, I have done 20 plates a side on the 45 degree with my hands on the thigh though. Also you right different machines will have different difficulties based upon the leverage advantages or muscles that are involved. My lifts have run the list from free weights to machines, and most I would say are very good.

I currently train a bit lighter than I used to due to not wanting to get bigger, been there done that, want to retain joint health, and quiet frankly I have nothing to prove to myself regarding strength. I have also found that I can retain a good size without having to lift as heavy as I used to. So instead of focusing on just raw poundage I focus on targeting a muscle, quality, etc. My focus is more on health and longevity, I'm happy with my physique overall.

I still get some good weight up, current lifts involve rock bottom pause barbell squats with 500lbs for 5 reps, romanian deadlift at 465 for 12 reps, and explosive upright row (pulling to lower chest) 275lbs for 12 reps reps.

Yeah a lot of the info in my book is available online, but the kicker is that there is a lot of garbage online as well, and you have to swim through the muck to get to the truth (especially regarding truly drug free training). This book reduces a lot of the trial and error than drug free trainees go through, and is written for the beginner to intermediate trainee.

why is the title referring to abs when it's about more than that?

and some people might feel intimidated since you have a mean look in your face.
You need to look in the mirror...If that's not enough ..You have one of the dumbest white men in your Avi....

You claim to be so smart and intelligent ? But...The thing's you idolize..are so "Stupid!

Look at that face...You like that? Obviously...That idiot tatted his face up to show his stupidity ...Only someone, who never had any plans to have a legitimate job and knows he will be in prison does that...He wears his hate and ignorance on his skin..

You can think you're smarter than most...But with every few posts...Your faggotry ,and ignorance shine !
