Congrats on the girl.. you got your hands full browski, from one dad to the next.. Hope you get a quiet one like mine, slept through the night after a month. Enjoy the first little bit bro, I didn't hold my daughter when she was a new born. Made me feel all wierd and nervous, but now she is standing on her own and took her first step the other day, eats 6 bottles a day along with dinner and is pushing 18 lbs. Hell she turns 8 months in 4 days so enjoy the time bro it flies by.

baby is great, healthy as can be thank god
my dog is actually doing a million times better than I thought he would----I made sure I gave my little girls hat she wore the first day to my pops and had him show it to my dog and sniff it and every time he sniffed it he got a treat. This got him used to the smell and gave him positive association. when I got back from the hospital I did the same thing with her blanket before I introduced them, and when I introduced them i gave him a treat when he sniffed her, it worked out great, he knows to only sniff her and not be hyper.
One thing I do when he's around the baby too is stay calm and make sure I dont yell at him or make it a negative or anxious situation at all, I want him to have a posistive association not a negative or anxious one.
your previous advice helped out heaps brother, like when I got home from the hospital I made sure I came in first and saw him before the baby came in and when my girl came in with hte baby I was outside with him and let him run around for an hour before coming in and meeting the baby, this way he wasnt too excited or anxious.

No doubt man, glad to hear it wasn't a headache. My choc blue growls anytime someone touches him if he is laying down, but the baby can do whatever pull his tail, grab his ears, poke his eyes and he just wags his tail.. It sounds like your going to be seeing the same thing brother.
P.S. you don't have a dog anymore (your little girl does), you will see this soon... Take care and congrats again man.

hahahaha! believe it or not, he's the scrapper of the family.
He's been in some real good ones because of his skin color and blue eyes, till about a month ago where he was tagging this kid that is 2 yrs older and lot bigger pretty good and the kids friend didn't like that their hero was getting his ass handed to him by a little twerp, so they decided to jump my son and video it...........needless to say when i saw the vid I wasn't happy..... the main kid wound up getting a broken jaw and the other got 8 stitches ;)
I have had him training with a good friend for about 3 yrs now....the kids has sum wicked subs ans tons of heart.

Ive had some personal probs with her mother, so it's been hell seeing her anymore.......I use to have her 4 days a week........now i haven't seen her in over 8 months........Its been hell man.
The last time i seen her was in the backseat of her moms car with only her bf driving........needless to say that's where i went wrong.
I got assault charges and 2 restraining orders, so I had to have a friend deliver her x-mas presents and for now my mom stays in touch and sends me pics.
Really sucks cause for the first 1 1/2yrs of her life she was with me more than her mommy :(............You have no idea how hard it is not to off someone over it.............lucky for her i have my sons and they mean just as much as she does............It's just she's my little girl and i'm not allowed to protect her.
For now, but soon i will have joint custody.

Man he is great. Already turning into a momma's boy, haha he hears her voice and instantly stops crying! Man boy is a beast tho 9 lbs 5 ounces at birth, 22 inches long. We took him to the doctors on Monday to have his circumcision checked out and he had already gained 6 ounces and grown a 1/4 inch. Man he is going to reak havoc in the cage!

Harvard's a good plan, just if this boy is anything like me he will have a tendency to knock some heads in from time to time. Rather he do it in a cage than in a bar! My oldest has been saying she is going to be a vet since she was 2 and we took her to the zoo, so we will see. My other daughter is so much like me man it scary, Kid already beats up her big sister, I will be in the principles office a lot with her!

It's been around a year now and things are still in the air......found out some news this week that she might have gotten married so i gotta make sure they dont try and adopts her.
I just been so busy with work and raising my boys that I kinda of been running away from the issue.
