RUSH: It's just getting laughable now. Now we have the Washington Examiner. A fifth woman is coming forward and suggesting Herman Cain sexually -- well, raising questions about Cain's behavior. A former employee of the United States Agency for International Development, USAID, says that Herman Cain "asked her to help arrange a dinner date for him with a female audience member following a speech he delivered nine years ago. Donna Donella, 40, of Arlington, said the USAID paid Cain to deliver a speech to businessmen and women in Egypt in 2002, during which an Egyptian businesswoman in her thirties asked Cain a question.
"'And after the seminar was over,' Donella told The Washington Examiner, 'Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, "Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?"' Donella, who no longer works for USAID, said they were suspicious of Cain's motives and declined to set up the date. Cain responded, 'Then you and I can have dinner.' That's when two female colleagues intervened and suggested they all go to dinner together, Donella said." So they did. "Cain exhibited no inappropriate sexual behavior during the dinner, though he did order two $400 bottles of wine and stuck the women with the bill, she said." He-he-he-he-he-he-he-he.
You know, folks, I gotta tell you something. We've had liberalism roaring through our culture for 50 years. At times it has been sneaky, slow, deliberate. At other times it has roared its way through. As I listen to earnest journalists in their thirties and forties describe what Herman Cain is said to have done -- no, sorry. When I listen to journalists in their thirties and forties unable to explain what Cain has done, but treating it as though it is reprehensible, I sadly conclude, we're losing this. Political correctness, which is censorship, has now spread to behavior, not just speech. It's spread to behavior. And sexual harassment now is a political weapon, and it's anything anybody wants it to be. You don't need a specific allegation. All you need is the appearance of impropriety.
That's where this gets dicey, because with this roaring liberalism through our culture, what appears to be inappropriate in the old days was nothing. I remember when Blake Edwards, who was married to Julie Andrews, he got an award during the Oscars. I think this was in the last ten years. And he praised his wife Julie Andrews, he called her the best damn broad that there ever was, and the place was outraged. It was a term of endearment to him. It wasn't a put-down. The way Blake Edwards and his buds, Peter Falk, that's the way they talked. Can't do that anymore. Can't call a woman a broad even if it's affectionate. You can't even say, "Hey, baby." No, can't even do that. What the hell did Herman Cain do here? He goes up and says, "Can maybe we go to dinner and answer the question," and that means that we've got a predator on our hands?
Now, you know and I know that during the nineties -- and you guys who have lost your kids in custody fights, you know exactly what I'm talking about -- the feminists, the feminazis went out there, there was a period of time in this country where every man and every husband was a predator by virtue of his existence alone, by virtue of just being a man. This is what the feminazis taught, and I think this is its legacy in part. It's absurd. And everybody that goes into journalism has been treated to this informal education. All of these alleged acts of impropriety are whatever the accuser thinks. All you have to do is be offended by somebody. You can be accused of sexual harassment and the crowd will pick up the charge and start yelling and yet looky, I keep going back to Gallup, and Gallup says nobody relatively, comparatively is paying any attention. And maybe that is because there is a majority and a large section of the country thinks all of this is just a bunch of bogus left-wing claptrap. Efforts to control, not just thoughts, but behavior and votes and all of that.
The number of people who walk around today in abject fear of being themselves would stun you I'll bet, the number of people that walk around today afraid to tell you what they really think about something. How often does it happen to you, you're in a group of people and you want to say what you really think but you whisper it to one person that you think you can trust because you're afraid there's some busybody in the group. It doesn't have to be a woman, it can be any liberal, any pantywaist liberal that's gonna take great offense and get holier-than-thou on you and start preaching to you, and who the hell wants that? (interruption) Well, no, 'cause I don't care. No, it doesn't happen to me. I don't care. That's the whole point. I don't care what people say.
I don't care what they think. That's a very liberating thing. But most people aren't that way. Hell, people whisper things to me all the time. I can't hear 'em 'cause I'm deaf, and they know it and they still won't raise their voice so I can hear it 'cause they're afraid of what people might say when they want to comment about something going on within a group of people. I'll tell you, the left has everybody running around in straitjackets, handcuffs and gags. Everybody gagged, blindfolded, you name it. That's what they want. A fifth woman now! In a period of two weeks. Herman Cain's been alive how many years, 65 years, and in two weeks of his life, bammo, five women from out of nowhere when he takes a lead in the polls.
I'll tell you, you women, why don't you just make it official, put on some burqas, and I'll guaran-damn-tee you nobody will touch you. You put on a burqa and everybody will leave you alone, if that's what you want. I can remember, folks, and I've told you this, early seventies, I'm away from home, my early twenties, first time in my life and it coincided with the modern era of feminazi-ism. You couldn't tell a woman that she looked attractive without arousing some sort of suspicion about what you intended. On a date. I don't mean at work. On a date. I got grief for opening a car door. "I can do that myself, thank you." You praise a woman's attractiveness and get a sermon on how you don't respect her brain. That stuff happened to me and a lot of people in the early seventies, and it's just built and built and built.
Cain ran for the Senate in 2004. Where were all these women then? He ran for the Republican nomination for president in 2000. He ran for the Senate in Georgia in 2004. Where were all these women then? This one, Bialek, not that this means anything, but she lives in Axelrod's building in Chicago. They see each other in the gym and they wink. How come she's not after him for sexual harassment? Everybody knows what a guy means when he winks at a girl in a gym. This is maddening stuff. People can't be who they are anymore, particularly men. But it's not just men. Everybody's walking around in some form of trepidation or another. But I'm not. 'Cause I don't care. But most everybody else does.
I can't say with a full 100% blanket that I don't care. Obviously you use discretion in certain things, places, because I have got no anonymity. I mean even with people who have total anonymity, I mean, I'm so famous it doesn't really matter. I'm the kind of guy people make things up about, in addition to whatever they hear that might be true. But people that have anonymity are still running around scared of everything because of crap like this. And I always said, the biggest problem with the feminazis, the biggest problem with militant feminism was that its basic goal was to structurally alter human nature.
How many of you know parents who bought into the silliness that if you raised your little girl baby with GI Joe dolls and painted the room blue that you're gonna raise a tomboy, and if you put your little boy with Barbie dolls in a pink bedroom that you're gonna raise -- I know people that actually tried that. I will never forget the TIME Magazine cover in the nineties, cover story, which meant that to the editors at TIME it was big news, a shocking study that proved men and women were born different. That was so earth-shattering to the namby-pamby nimrods at TIME Magazine at the time that it rated a cover story. Now, what must you think, if men and women are born different is news to you? Well, you must have been totally infected with all that claptrap liberalism, feminazi-ism in your young, formative impressionable years.

RUSH: I got that TIME cover here. I just don't know the date of it is, but I do know it's in the nineties and the headline is, "Why are Men and Women Different? It isn't just upbringing, new studies show. They are born that way." That's a TIME Magazine comment. Here. Hang on just a second, folks. I'm gonna zoom in on this so you can see it. It's in the nineties. I'll never forget this piece of sh... whatever crap it was. All right, here we go. There's the cover, TIME Magazine. "Why are Men and Women Different?" There you have it. That's so you know that I'm not making this up: "Why are Men and Women Different? It isn't just upbringing, new studies show. They are born that way." I'm telling you, if you think that -- if that's worthy of cover story news and you're at TIME Magazine -- what must you think? It was January 20th, 2002.

Fully agree.
Also good info on the social landscape can be had from long time taxi drivers... they're often a fountain of little tidbits about many things.
Many of them think that something went wrong in the early 90ties.

Anyone who listens to or gets their social commentary from Rush is an idiot!!!

Fuck liberalism.
And coach, are you going to answer my questions or should I just die without knowing your thoughts?
And once more, with feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeling...Fuck liberalism. It stifles the evolution of mankind allowing the inferior to supplant the superior and all in the name of "fairness". Fuck that noise.

Spot on.
Luckily artificial values are vaporized by inborn ones in a few msecs. So all the bullshit is a time bomb.

Liberalism is a disease look at that asshole Benny he's a good example!

extremism is the problem.
on the right, its the people saying govt should be stripped down, with the only regulation being spending an asslod on defense and of course, enforcing anti-abotion and anti-gay laws. You know, kill social security and medicare and it's everyone on their own, cause that'll end well.
on the left, it's the lazy entitled kids that think they deserve a job making $70k a year for 40 hours desk work, because after all, they have a bachelors degree in communication or 17th century british arts. They like their welfare, their handouts, they love the govt controlling everything.
Both sides are completely, and hopelessly, fcked in their heads.
The solution lies in between, of course, which is why we keep seeing leaders of extremes get elected to kinda pull that pendulum back and forth. The left took over in 2008, winning everything. Then the right took over in 2010, with the great tea party success. Now we'll see the 2011 shifting momentum, and 2012 will probably be Obama keeping his jobs and congress remaining close.

Bingo.

the atheist religion which is a mix of feminism, humanism, socialo communism, individualism, consumerism, ,materialism, hedonism AND liberalism is indeed crushing human nature. When people living in extreme confort dont want to reproduce anymore and sink into addictions ,drugs until the lineage ends, when inter generational links, couple relationships and parents-kids relationships are destroyed, it's pretty clear that someone somewhere will find out abandonning religion so boldly wasnt such as of a great idea as it seemed to be in the first place. Look at our societies, they are morally, spiritually, socially, economically collapsing.
The only cure is a massive rechristianisation of north america. The fall of atheist europe in the hands of muslims who will ally with chinese will be the wake up call for americans who will ally with canadians and will build a huge wall at the mexican border to protect themselves from the rest of the world.
There will be two sides; the sino muslim alliance that will occupy eurasia, australia, africa, and the last christian rampart in north america that will be inhabited by the fleeing last christians from europe, jews from israel and japanese after more tsumamis and radioaactive leaks ruin their island once and for all. Then there will be the final fight between these two juggernauts for the last remaining ressources on earth.
It's all written in the Bible, always has been.

I'd argue that cut-and-paste jobs stifle actual thinking. ;D

As much as I think that Coach is a Republican weirdo... I agree as well.

"There’s nothing good about drug use. We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. Drug use destroys societies. Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them. And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up,"

Go look at my posts from around the time of the collapse and what I said would be the result of obamanomics compared to the result today and you tell me what I know. Hint - almost every prediction I made came to fruition.

No, what has crushed human nature is extreme morons like Coach (sorry, coach, no offense). Those that cling so blindly to one side, that they they fail to see another persons view. Coach is so blinded by theism and the republican party that he can't see anything beyond that. So even if Coach did agree with a democratic or liberal view, he would toss it out of its mind because of the source. If Coach knew that idea was a good idea for mankind, he still would not accept it because it came from a democrat or liberal. This is no good.
I consider myself an independent. As long as the idea makes sense, I dont care where it came from. Coach does. That is the problem.

There is this joke that at the end of the day democrats and republicans all sit together in one big room and sort of discuss how to gain more power, etc. I guess it just means, like you said, its all the same shit.

Look, you don't have to be an econ major to figure out what works and what doesn't work. What Obama and this administration is trying to push on us doesn't work and never has. He's trying to make this country in to a euro economy and even though he sees the (I know he see's the downfall, no one is that fucking stupid) European markets and economy totally collapsing he still wants us to be like them. I don't have to listen to any right wing talk show host to figure this out. I have a business, I have investments, I have a retirement, etc and I see what its doing. You can't possibly think all of this spending isn't going to come back and bite all of us in this ass, it would be illogical to think other wise.
You think I'm the only one? You have billionairs who supported obama saying the same thing. Don't single me out dude. I'm not the only one!

That is not the issue, Coach.
What I am saying is that even if you did agree with a democratic or liberal on a point of view, you would dismiss it because of we're it's coming from. That is called extremism and that is the source of the problem.

Thanks. As you can see, I'm not getting any better as evidenced by sometimes using the wrong words and I have difficulty spelling and staying on track/focused, albeit when a topic is a passion of mine I can focus harder. Thank "Science" ;D for spell check.

;D Okay, but remember I am very conservative. I make Rush look like a total lib. ;)
But back to the topic at hand. I think Coach would agree on some "compromises" given as I said the parameters of the proposal met his definitions within good reason. For example I have heard off the wall liberals spout crap like "conservatives don't want clean air and clean water!". That's pure bullshit but few if any media folk call them on this drivel.
It is a blanket statement meant solely to expand their agenda by smothering the truth on their adversaries. Of course conservatives desire clean air and water. Who would not? FTN.
Both sides are capable of doing so but more often than not it seems to be the liberal side of the equation. Thanks again.

"Within good reason" and theism don't go hand-in-hand. You can't think anything with good reason when you think the universe is only 6,000 years old. :-\ :-\

That's a good example. I live on the beach and when I look out my backyard I hate to see trash on the sand and ocean and trash being washed up on shore. Nothing pisses me off more. It's the extreme enviros that piss me off to no end telling us we can't drill in such and such place because of some fish or bird. In central california water was shut off to farmers and over 50,000 jobs were lost over some fucking fish. What kind of commonsense is that? You have people who are struggling to feed families because useless shit like this. Thats just ONE example.

Not all who follow the Christ (and I gather you are speaking of Christians given your 6,000 year supposition) think that and I know this from personal relationships with a few genuine Christians. One thing that liberalism and even conservatism, albeit to a lesser extent in my own personal experience, do is force people to focus on their supposed "differences" instead of the things we all have in common. Black, white, have, have not, etc.
If we were truly as different as some would have us think, then how is it we can (as did my parents) have children together? It is understandable that morals are often based in religious beliefs, but if those morals are true and good then how does it lesson that goodness, that truth and their relevance any if some think them given by a deity?
It does not. No one needs a God to tell them what is right or wrong, but if we were in no need of any moral guidance and enforcement of same, then why do we have laws and the police and military to enforce and protect us from ourselves?
Because we are at once both human and inhumane. Ah well, thank you for listening to the rantings of an old man. Be well.

I'm impressed. I haven't read much, some basics of macro economics.
Don't be the guy's a fucking retard, he knows ecomonics pretty good, but he's a retard when it comes to talking about people and actual reality. The guy lives in the land of greedy smucks. No class, and sure as hell no meaningful insight into anything worth while.

What morals are you referring to? Where the old testament allows people to own slaves and to beat our wives and children? :-\ :-\ Oh those, damn, forgot about those! :D :D

Iran: Armageddon One Day Closer
by Austin Bay
November 8, 2011
In 1981, Israeli fighter-bombers attacked and destroyed Iraq's Osirak nuclear reactor. That airstrike, widely condemned by the so-called civilized world, kept the truly barbaric Saddam Hussein from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
In 2011, three decades later, Iran's clerical dictatorship is moving ever closer to acquiring nuclear weapons, and the Israelis are threatening military action. Israel perceives an Iranian nuke as an existential threat, and with good reason. The apocalyptic kooks running Iran casually refer to Israel as a "one bomb state."
The latest International Atomic Energy Agency report on Iran's nuclear program, issued Tuesday, merely reconfirms what clear thinkers determined years ago: The Iranian regime knows how to hide a nuclear weapons development program in plain sight. So once again we are hearing demands for harsher anti-nuclear sanctions. Sanctions, however, will not deter Iran's nuclear quest.
In 2010, when he was CIA director, U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta acknowledged that sanctions likely have limited effects on the Iran's program. Why? Because the ruling thugs want a bomb, desperately. Panetta didn't come right out and say it, but the Bush administration, correctly, reached that conclusion in 2003.
Regime change -- ideally, replacing the clerical dictatorship with a democracy -- would end the threat an Iranian nuclear weapons pose to Persian Gulf Arab states, Iraq, Turkey, Israel and Europe. Regime change is not impossible, and the ayatollahs know it. Iranian dissidents are the mullahs' biggest problem, not Israel. Encouraging Iranian dissidents and helping them, by covert means if necessary, must be U.S. policy.
It is a sad historical fact that when Iranian dissidents began demonstrating in the wake of the fraudulent June 2009 elections, the Obama administration failed to support them and missed an opportunity. Recall at the time that President Barack Obama was naively touting personal negotiations with the Tehran regime as the solution to Iran's nuclear threat. Toppling the regime internally, however, will take time. Meanwhile, the centrifuges spin, enriching Iran's uranium stockpile, Iranian scientists design warheads, and Armageddon draws one day closer.
A military strike on Iranian nuclear development and production facilities might set the program back several years, but Iranian strategists learned from Osirak. One decisive bombing strike on one central facility will not stop the mullahs' quest. Iran's nuclear facilities have been hardened (bunkered) and dispersed over a wide geographic area.
Israel does not have the conventional military assets to conduct multiple, sustained attacks on dispersed, hardened facilities, the kinds of attacks it would require to seriously damage Iran's program. The ballistic missile Israel tested last week could conceivably carry a deep-penetrating conventional warhead, but it looks like it is designed to deliver nuclear weapons.
A pre-emptive Israeli nuclear strike is a terrible thought.
This terrible thought is one reason the Israelis have used covert means to disrupt Iran's nuclear quest. Most security analysts credit Israeli computer scientists with creating Stuxnet, the computer virus that attacked computers and digital control devices used by Iranian nuclear scientists. The Stuxnet infection hindered Iran's nuclear program but has not destroyed it.
The prospect of an Israeli pre-emptive nuclear strike is another reason a U.S.-led attack on Iranian nuclear facilities may ultimately be the least-worst option. Let me repeat that: U.S.-led. The U.S. is the only nation that has the conventional military assets to destroy the Iranian nuclear threat, so forget cutesy notions of leading from behind.
Over the last decade, numerous plans for attacking Iranian nuclear facilities have appeared in the press. A "simultaneous strategic bombing strike" (described by StrategyPage.com in 2003) is one U.S. attack option. In a short time frame, aircraft, cruise missiles and perhaps ballistic missiles with conventional warheads would deliver hundreds of precision weapons, hitting nuclear targets and air defense sites. Follow-up raids on surviving facilities could continue for weeks.
A risky option? Of course, risky politically and militarily. However, a nuclear-armed Iranian Islamic revolutionary government is also a political and military risk.

I "forgot" nothing and will thank you not to infer it. ;D I refer primarily to the New Testament and the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Be careful lest it appears that as with so many people you appear to be able to find fault in anything or anyone.
Except yourself. ;D

haha, oh no, I definitely have tons of faults. It appears that theists are the one's who cant find fault in anything. I mean, they believe the bible is the end all and be all of everything!
-
I'm impressed. I haven't read much, some basics of macro economics.
I am a fan of Austrian ideas on economics. Hazlitts famed Economics in One Lesson is still a masterpiece.
-
Coach, I'm sorry, but no one here respects you.
-
Don't care so don't be sorry.
-
Well, take a look at CA and see if Liberialism works and that idiot Jerry brown :-\
-
Funny, if you don't agree with the left you get called names and people telling you that "no one respects you" but for whatever reason they can't give a reason. Just name calling. I have no respect for liberalism or the people that support the views but at least I can come up with a sizable list as of why.
-
Anyone who listens to or gets their social commentary from Rush is an idiot!!!
x2! Think for yourself. Liberalism is evolution of society, conservatism is like still living in the caves. Cave dweller coach still wants no abortions, no alcohol sold on sundays, and is ok with presidential candidates sexually harassing many woman, what a hypocrite.
-
the atheist religion which is a mix of feminism, humanism, socialo communism, individualism, consumerism, ,materialism, hedonism AND liberalism is indeed crushing human nature.
Do you want massive deaths from blood loving Christians anymore than they kill now? Muslim all over the world would be world peace and woman acting correctly, think about it. Who kills more people, Christians or Muslims, Christians by x10000.
-
No , he said this years before be got busted , obviously that doesn't apply to him , typical hypocrite.
bwhwhahhahah owned, Rush is just another white christian, GOP, poor hating, hypocrite like coach.
-
No, what has crushed human nature is extreme morons like Coach (sorry, coach, no offense).
Coach does. That is the problem.
ya know College helps you have an open mind and listen and have a debate and see both sides, it's sad Coach never could graduate, that is why he is like that.
-
I agree! Even if it did for Coach, he still would not agree with it if it came from a liberal. :-\ :-\ Coach doesn't care what's good for humanity, only what is good for himself, religious nutjobs and conservatives.
Truth! x2
-
You have to be the DUMBEST guy on here.

sounds familiar, oh it's you who name calls all the time and accuses people of stuff and has no proof, pure hypocrite again.
-
Obviously you didn't read my past posts. College has made you dumber. No commonsense what so ever!
-
"reppinforcocks," is just a leech off society. A dumb fuck who wants everything handed to him while he takes cocks up the ass!
-

I guess you forgot about the part where Muslims were the sole reason for the Crusades and that they had been raping, murdering and slaughtering Christians for decades prior to the Crusades starting. People always love to leave that part out of history when commenting about the evils of Christians.
-

great reply, another name calling conservative. When all else fails just call people names like a 12 year old.
-
coach, its quite obvious you are an extremist! I have met people who are republican and conservative, but you take it to the extreme. You have shut off your mind from anything that doesn't wreak of god or or republican ways. I don't know, seems like a pretty close minded way to view things. :-\ :-\
-

I am sure you are exaggerating, but they knew what evil Christianity is, and they were trying to destroy it before it came and killed so many people as it has today in the name of Christianity. The atomic bomb on japan twice, all the christian USA wars killing innocents, wow, Muslims were right all along to try and eliminate it.
-
ya know College helps you have an open mind and listen and have a debate and see both sides, it's sad Coach never could graduate, that is why he is like that.
Coach is so blinded by his views, that he even ignores scientific evidence and actually believes the universe is 6,000 years old. You see how bad this is? When you start to ignore datum because your beliefs blind you, you're headed down a road that is pretty narrow. You can show Coach all the evidence in the world for something and he still wouldn't believe it because he so dogmatically opposes anything that doesn't involve god or republicans.
-
I can't take it. No one can possible say they're educated and be this stupid. Really? If you actually do go to college get your daddys tuition back. The system failed you.....again. Either that or turn yourself in for treason, get tried and hopefully executed.
-

See this is why you should have gone to college, you would be able to listen to the other side, see their points and even if you don't agree, be able to debate with them, but instead you shutdown or just name call.
-

Shut the f-ck up Jtsnumai you dirty homo Muslim. I thought Muslims disowned fags like yourself. Stupid homo! Dicks are for chicks!

Go read a book. The attack on Japan had zero to do with Christianity but I wouldn't expect you to understand that as you've already proven you haven't even the most elementary knowledge of history.
-

It was in the end Christians who decided to bomb two civilian cities. Their faith tells them not to do that kind of stuff, so yes it does have a lot to do with their religion. Christianity is a religion of killing and hypocrisy.
-
Coach, I'm sorry, but no one here respects you.
Wrong.

Given your words here we, the normal and rational of the world have two possibilities. You are either delusional or one hell of a delusional fucktard.
Looks like the latter of the two. Here to help, ace. Don't go there you muslime pork belly. Fuck your noise.
