LOL yeah they popped up BRIEFLY at the bottom. once i got out of the hole it was A-OK but that definitely was an issue. :P

you know if you stop even higher you can use more weight! seriously, if you only bend your knees about three inches i'll bet you could "squat" 800lb!  :D

OK, troll-time is over, I am not letting my good name on getbig perish because of that stud :D

He is wearing:
 - Belt +10-20kg in front squats depending on how weak your back is... In front squats YOUR BACK ALWAYS GIVES UP BEFORE QUADS, whether that is lower back or upper back.
- Tight wraps +20kg to squats, he is an idiot to wear them though because in front squat YOUR BACK ALWAYS GIVES UP FIRST. On the contrary to common belief they give no safety.
 - The style of grip he is using is retarded. This is only for extremely huge guys who have way too much muscle to use olympic grip and very, very strong upper back. Even if you are 300lbs shredded beast which this dude clearly is not, you can still use straps and imitate olympic grip. MUCH better.
 - Depth... Stance... This is front squat, seriously, what the fuck.

Overall this dude has knowledge of a novice, his squats resemble mine from years back when I tried to learn front squats and he has status of a guru on one board I visit sometimes and my real life friends contribute to so I decided to put it here for laughs :D

Only if you can't move properly, don't know how to work on your range, and if your "upper back" gives out then you're a dork who has gone too high in reps and not realised that an isometric rhomboid contraction is always going to be weaker than the myriad of muscles you are trying to stimulate when doing a front squat.

i used to do real heavy front squats

i mean singles with 155kg at 82kg natural bw and stufff


and never had an injury


recently i started doing light front squats with 100kg for reps and reps (and i'm roided up 95kg now)

and hurt my back all the time


now this can be why

depends o  your built and angles. Ibefore my break i use to do heavy frontsquats, alwahs crossed my arms like that cause  the bar laied good in a "dimp" in my shoulders. I can even vomd my arms straight forward without holding the bar in the hands on 100kg. My back is always straight up and not even on  repping 200kg did my back give up before my legs, same with lighter weight. Thats because how im  built and the angles i get.

And i was not a 280 lbl shredded monster

 They say squats make you or break you if thats not broken i don't know what is.  The only thing that guy would be good for is helping to get a keg to a second story. I have to admit i am a little amazed how looking that frail he is even able to do that
