Impressive until a person of normal stature stands beside him, and then you clearly see how much of a midget he is.

I remember David Henry lying about being able to do one-arm triceps extensions with a 135lbs db. Ego lifter.

Bigtime. Then seeing him attempt to hammer curl the 120lb dumbbells in a fit of anger was jokes.

I beleive it was 135 dumbbell curls. Apparently Dex or JOJ saw him do it. There is vid of a phone convo that they had about it.

No, I'm actually sure it was one arm extensions. It was on musclemayhem. Obviously it was all bullshit and he got called out on it.

The only claim I remember was that 120ish pound dumbbell curl (I was wrong about the 135 dumbbell curl). He was overseas in service for awhile, and then came back. That 120ish pound dumbbeel curl was around the same time Darrem Charles was claiming the same thing.

I beg your pardon, mighty Lord Galvatron *cowers like a lowly Sweep*, but ... I did actually see a video of Henry doing just that.

Now, to say that he was doing top third-range reps at best is probably generous :)  Still, he did get the thing into position and eek out a few partials.

I do agree that he had NO business claiming he could do one-arm extensions with that weight, though ... it's no different than Ultra Magnus and his 1 million ton leg press for 4" reps :)

As for the greater topic-at-hand, Flex Lewis and Dave Henry could definitely give Lee a hard time.  At his best, Lee was fantastic, no doubt, but there are plenty of other short guys under 220 who would give him serious fits.  Shawn Ray's one, and he could've done the 212s.  Maybe Momo Benaziza, too, had he not croaked.  And as others have mentioned, there's always Padilla.  He was a complete freak at the '90 or '91 NOC (?), bigger than ever and just as ripped.  He was billed at 225 for that show, which I don't believe for a second (he weighed 160 shredded in '81); still, the dude was perfect from head-to-toe.  And unlike most short bodybuilders, he didn't look like a giant-headed little midget with stunted limbs.

That's why the title is "212 Mr. Olympia" and not "Mr. Olympia."  ::) Most people in the 212 are not normal sized men (5'9") and above.

And even standing next to guys a few inches taller than him, Lee held his own. Better physique than 99% of the bloated messes out there these days.

The majority of pro's are lucky if they're even close to 5'9". Most are manlets.

I saw the 2000 Olympia the other day and Ronnie made
even the big guys look uncomparable size wize to him.
And in bodybuilding - Height and overall impressiveness
counts for a lot.
As far as the 212 Olympia goes he could hold his own from the front
but Flex and Correas back, glutes and hams would give Lee trouble
in taking the crown.
When it was the 202 division Lee would crush Kevin English if politics
weren't involved but Lee would have to look like he did when he beat
Chris Cormier at the Australia show in 2006 or so.

The 2005 ASC and Australia was his best condition and he said it
hurt to get like that. The judges rewarded him accordingly.
He was in very good condition when he won that 2013 NABBA Uverse too.

other than a some slight torso to waist structure issue, correra was unreal here,,never realized that back thickness from side 'slabs of beef'hanging and hard throughout with great seperation,,his traps from rear look like there in flexed position on a shrug movement 'thickness wise'ridiculous,,legs are always top notch..flex flows a bit better ,,and when correa is off 'condition'wise he falls ,here damn unreal..

the level of competition in the 90's was incredible
I doubt we'll see a better gene pool than those years

Flex, levrone, Yates, dillet, Nasser, priest, Ronnie, Cormier, Shawn ray

He didn't just hold his own, he should have beaten Levrone at this show.  His conditioning was much better than Wheelers here too.  He would crush David Henry in 212's.  Flex Lewis at his best would
be an interesting comparison, but no one else under 212 stacks up.

Lees structure is really flawed and annoying looking. Long torso on midget body, narrow, no chest

Arms and legs are the only stand out body parts for sure but his who balance of a physique is flawed

Padilla better, and labrada in terms of weight and around the same height as labrada was in the 180's

Heck if labrada competed in today's 212 he'll be the greatest ever given his weight and height of course
