Title: Niacin for increasing HDL on cycle
Post by: equipoise on June 01, 2015, 12:58:10 PM
I'm running tren right now, and came back with HDL a little low. I was thinking of running some niacin to bring it up. Would this work?

probably as much as adding creatine helps when youre already on tren. lol

tren wrecks HDL
cant do much about that
not even with diet (which is a much more important factor than supps anyway)

It works and works very well. I have seen the blood work to back it up. Work your way up slowly up to 3gms a day... please dont start at 3gms, you'll be in agony.

Niacin is so effective at increasing HDL big pharma is trying their hardest to co-opt it ( hence slo-niacin among others). It works better than all the prescription pills combined.

Even with the tren? I was under the impression that the health-fucking effects of tren are so powerful that they can't be mitigated lol

Only one way to find out...

I'm pretty sure you're better off taking Niacin then not, even while on tren. It worked wonders for my HDL...

yep tren and anavar. 2-3gms a day. preferably 3 grams. If I hadnt seen the bloodwork I wouldnt have believed it. I know Niacin is super effective I just didnt know how effective it was but I guess if big pharma wants it then its the real deal

is 3g really necessary? I read that therapeutic dosages start from 1g onwards

Sort of, yes, equipoise, but F450 is on track.  1.5 a day is therapeutic for most users and more get's the job done even better.  Bear in mind this is the 'flush' naicin (also called nicotinic acid) and not niacinamide or nicotinamide which are also B3s but will not work in this role.  Also note that niacin will reduce LDL cholesterol (including VLDL - which most statins will not do) and also reduce triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol.  As f450 points out, Big Pharma would dearly love to outlaw the OTC sale of niacin as it gets an excellent result with problematic blood lipids/cholesterol without affecting the production of CoQ10 in the liver - the number 1 mitochondrial fuel.  The pharmaceutical industry have succeeded in some nanny states around the world and they won't stop coercing and bribing until they get their way - with this and a basket of other herbals, vitamins and trace elements.

New users should start with 100mg with or immediately after meals three times a day and work up 100g every week thereafter.  You're "in the zone" from 500mg 3 x a day for picking up noticeable changes in blood tests after 3-4 weeks.  More will give even further gratification.  Good luck.
